Any new teams for 2011/12 season?

Obviously Enfield 1893 may replace waltham forest in the ryman north division even if they finish 2nd but does anyone have any info if any other clubs will or are applying to join the league for next season?

Did I not see some mention of an AFC WEST HAM ? or was that somebody fantasising ? Could Leyton Restart , The ground is still there . Just needs new owners to take it on.

Was there not also a mention of a Wadham Lodge team forming ? or Some team coming from the EOL ?

This league does need extra clubs , by my reckoning its about 3 short .

That depends on how many champion clubs there are with the right criteria . Dont forget there are several other step 5 leagues that have runners up clubs , NOT JUST the ESL .

Unfortunately Leyton wont be ready for next season, but expect to be ready for 2012/13.

Enfield 1893 need to win on Saturday to gain promotion or the lottery of the FA's points per game, in a league that only has 17 teams, only takes 1 or 2 defeats to bring the average down, where teams with 22 or 24 teams it would be a smaller percentage.

As teams folding already like Windsor & Eton this season, fully expect Waltham Forest to get a repreive and follow Ilford (2) and Harlow.

This is how it worked last season, there are only 12 promotion places 4 into the Ryman, 4 into Northern, 4 into Southern. 2 in each of their 2 divisions. This does not mean 12 will come down as they give reprieves for teams who go bust, ie Windsor & Eton, the clubs are all put in a pool so it makes no difference that Windsor & Eton were Southern league, last year / season there were 14 league into 12 places, the 11 champions took the first places and then the other 3 leagues were 2nd's, Witham lost out on points per game as there were only 18 teams in the division, as explained earlier 1 defeat in a league of 18 is a higher percentage than 1 defeat in a leauge of 22.
