Congratulations to Enfield and best of luck to Kevin and his players on their 'double' quest.

A young Manor missed some chances tonight and were unlucky, I think all would agree that Enfield will go away knowing that they were in a proper game over the two legs. Should be a decent final.

Thanks for that Silencer

Could not make tonights game, but if it was anything like the first match then i'm sure it was a good game.

looking forward to saturdays game at Clapton, but it won't be easy. Although out disallowed goal v Stansted was a terrible decsion. I took the photos, Ocran was not offside and he did not foul his marker, its worth a look on our website. The lino did not put his flag up until our man was clean thro, with only smallsy to beat.

Eton Manor 0-0 Basildon United

Hullbridge Sports 1-2 Bowers & Pitsea (L Newton, S Merchant)

CORRECTIONS

Apologies to Basildon Utd, I was misinformed, according to Mitoo they won 3-2 at home to Eton Manor.

I was in Bowers Bar last night and a few of the Bowers players came back from the game at Hullbridge and said they had won 1-2, yet Mitoo says it was 0-2.

Agree entirely with you TTB. I was there last night as my club had no midweek fixture and I thought this this local derby game with much at stake for your visitors too was well worth a looksee and wasn' disappointed. Stansted were certainly better in the first half and deserved their lead but Takeley came out and played with much more determination and skill in the second and a share of the points wouldn't have certainly not have flattered you. Well done!

0-2 Hookey, it's the first time this season Bastin got a clean sheet I think so don't spoil it for the lad....

3 wins on the bounce for the Cook/Warren partnership...

Just a thought, it seems every time Bowers have suffered a string of heavy defeats this season the manager has removed his assistant/coach from their positions at the club. How many has he had this season?

Not sure where you get your information from but GaryMo has been Colin's assistant manager since 2008, Fred Adams has been first team coach since about the same time. Clive Day came in as an additional coach at the start of this season and was asked to leave before Xmas due to concerns about issues in the squad, nothing to do with 'heavy defeats'...

I'd suggest you check your facts before you start typing next time....
