So that's why you left Sandhurst then mate? All becomes clear now! All this talk about travelling, etc was just a smokescreen......should have known it was something to do with food as you need to keep that pot belly of yours fed!

Good luck for your last few games mate......no doubt you'll let me and everyone else on facebook know how many goals that is now!

Hungry Unders?? lol. Fizzers is about an extra 35 miles round trip, compared to Farnham from my house. Doing that 3 times a week is a lot of miles through out the season. We both know how much i enjoyed playing for you and Pete at Sandhurst. It was just a long boring drive, and i was doing it on my own in pre season.

As for the goals, seen as you asked...... 39 mate!waytogo.gif

Knaphill 0-2 Warlingham

A depleted Wars side with Cootes, Higgins, Gledhill, Bugden and leading Scorer Jansen all missing made it 5 wins on the bounce against Knaphill. Wars started brightly and took the game to the home side and on 15 mins former Knaphill skipper Miles thought he had put wars 1 up only to see his goal bound effort cleared off the line. Wars didnt have to wait long as Ang put wars 1 up with a turn and finish on 18 mins. Wars were expoliting both full backs and the reserve team players who were brought in were doing there job well. Rideout was having a big affect on the game and hit the bar on 30 mins from a tight angle. Knaphill struggled to get into the game and young Joe Burge in Wars goal was not tested at all in the first half.

Second half and Knaphill started brightly and pressed better but were again resulting to long efforts on target that Wars were happy with chances were few and far between but Burge in the wars goal pulled of a fine save after a cracking 30 yard effort fron Knaphill number 7 was held firm at the foot of the post. Wars won a free kick on 70 mins and Rideout had the freedom of woking to head home only to see it go wide then on 80 mins Knaphill were awarded a free kick on the corner of Wars 16 yard box it hit the wall and Former Knaphill player Brunty picked the ball up just outside his own penalty box beat 1 Knaphill player then another broke into Knaphills half and split their defence beat the centre half and found himsefl 1 on 1 with the keeper and calmly slotted home - A fantastic individual goal from Brunty to put Wars 2 up to the delight of the away bench and seal the 3 points for Warlingham.

A superb performance from Wars tonight defensively we were solid and we looked threatening going forward. With squad players playing their part tonight was a joy to watch.

As much as it disappoints me to say this Tucks, I'll have to agree with you. Your lot simply wanted it more than us and every one of your players did their respective jobs well, it was a great team effort and even mroe impressive given how many 1st choice players were missing so fair play for that. Your back 4 were solid and restricted us to long shots for almost the entire 90minutes, one of which you mentioned which I though was in but for a decent save! Slightly fortunate deflection for your first goal but we were lucky not to concede again from Rideout's effort. If we'd scored before Brunty's individual goal, it may have been different but got no complaints at the result.

Hope you enjoyed playing under the lights.

Unless Farnham lose their last 2 games by a total margin of 5 goals or more, they will finish in the top 3.

Assuming Worcester Park and South Park win their remaining games, Bedfont will miss out on promotion.

4 points will be enough for South Park!

WPFC - v Farnborough H - Knaphill H - Feltham H - Cobham A

SPFC - v Chobham A - Hartley Wintney H

FTFC - v CB Hounslow United H - Eversley A

Intriguing stuff. (As is our trip to Guildford tonight)!:futbolbud2:

TC I started pre season at the club I finished at the year before. Its not like I only joined to play in that game.

Jurgs it is that far. Also can take upto 45 mins midweek.

Just to clarify my 'dig' at BBM was a joke based on his pot belly that he carries around with him! He's a top lad and I had no problems with the way he left the club.

He has had a great season and it's good to see all the ex Fizzers down at Farnham doing well and I look forward to seeing how they do in the CCL prem next season.

Statement from the FTFC website

***INTERNAL INVESTIGATION***

FTFC are conducting an internal investigation after evidence was found of striker Mark Corbett, biting on the Forum. With a minimum fine of £2 for biting, the club may take necessary action to stop Corbett biting in the future. There are rumours he will get offered ONLY four sausages instead of his normal FIVE as a goal bonus but more details will become clear and made public in due course.

Oh I enjoyed it, essien5!

Good game and nice to see lots of old faces, with the committee and management very welcoming, as were the players, apart from Cardo24 not shaking my hand in the line up cheesy%20(2).gif and diggity leaving my name blank reading out the starting lineup :waytogo: - great banter! But all in all, a great evening and good to catch up with the Knaphill boys afterwards. If Murphy's strike went in, probably would have stayed a draw, but was indeed a good stop from the keeper. Think Knaphill my get 6 out of 9 possible points from their remaining 3 games which will see them finish very respectably, consdiering how they started season. Hat goes off to Dave Freeman who has worked hard in getting the ground ready for possible promotion next year and I for one certainly hope they achieve it. Ground is looking good with the lights and the stand and so the future is looking bright for Knaphill. At least its only 4 games Baker has played against me now without scoring....:yay:
