I wasnt that surprised BGU have gone on a funny run themselves, they were at one stage right on Witham heels for 3rd and then fell away. Drew with Apsa and lost to Mauritius. 4 points from last 18

It’s a shame that Barkingside got caught playing ringers last night, so they will lose the points what a disgrace playing ringers @ semi-pro level.

 

 

 

The manager of BGU was not happy shouting I have 16 players out injured, and still managed to get a half injured team and 4 under 18 on the pitch. Then you lot play ringers it’s a disgrace. all went of @ the end of the game BGU manager was very upset.

Are you sure Philip they are not just players dual registered, is that still allowed in esl?

Quite common knowledge that Sawbo and Barkingside use players from higher up when they dont have a game midweek.

Embarrassing!!!I have been campaigning for ids with picture and birth certificates copies for ages.I think when a team does this they should not only lose the game and have pointsdeducted but the officials should get matches bans as well as giving the 3 points to the opposition.At times we all struggle to put 11 players out but that's not an excuse for doing it.The problem is the rules are too soft.

On the note of ringers and ineligable (sp) players, I do think the ESL misses a trick with their rulings. A team gets deducted points if proven guilty however the team who did not 'cheat' are still effectiveley penalised.

 

For instance, ETON MANOR could play half a dozen awesome ringers on saturday and beat BETHNAL GREEN 4-0. Later, ETON MANOR ARE deducted the three points however BETHNAL GREEN still suffer a 4-0 loss. No logic imho - been a problem area in the ESL for a long time.

Silencer that has got to be the most stupid post you have ever posted, the BGU manager has every right to kick of about a team playing ringers sounds like you have a personal vendetta or are you just racist like your manager.

 

 

 

Listen I think BGU manager does f and blind about every decision and needs to calm down on the side lines before he has a heart attack, does his team no favors, but he gets treated like a foreigner in this league, and don’t say its not true cause some respected officials in this league agree those that iv spoke to.

 

 

 

Last night for example the linesman flags the ref over and said that BGU manager called him a cheat, well 50 people behind the dugout never heard that and even the BGU manager turn around and said did I say that, then a few responded he never said that ref and these where Barkingside officials or fans.

Scene:- Last game of the season and title chasing Clapton host fellow title chaser London Apsa.

 

Apsa go into the game top of the league on goal difference.

 

Pld Pts GD

 

London Apsa 31 77 +52

Clapton 31 77 +50

 

Clapton have an injury crisis so pull in half a dozen pukka players from top non league sides through various contacts. They win the game 6-0 and celebrate winning the title much to the disgust of London Apsa's players, officials and fan.

 

Later that week, under the current ESL rulings, Clapton are deducted the three points however they would still be champions on goal difference thanks to cheating in the 6-0 hammering the previous weekend. Clapton would have won the league by cheating with a final table as below:-
