I got about 20 or more items of casework today, two very serious. I chose to give my spare time to local residents. Its my spare time and I will use it the way I want to use it.

 

I am not anti-STFC. I want to keep Kennedy Park free of a massive multi-million pounds commercial development.

 

My priority is not STFC supporters particularly after they rejected repeated offers from me to get involved with others in tacking the Thorne/Deaner problem at Wexham Park stadium.

 

I am consistent in my belief that Kennedy Park belongs to Britwell residents. It is an important community asset. Shops, offices, a hotel, more cramped housing, car parks, 3 pitches and a football stadium for 10,000 people, overloaded roads, a road across Kennedy Park linking Northborough with Wentworth Avenue are, in my personal opinion as a resident, not good for Britwell. More importantly the majority of those I speak to share my opinion.

So now we know -

 

1) He is too busy

2) His priority is not STFC (could have fooled me with all the midnight oil he's been burning here and there)

3) He could do a better job than any of us at mediating between the Thornes/Deaner and we are foolish for not having thought of talking to them before(?????????)

4) He knows what is planned before the feasabilty study commences

5) He seems to assume that he speaks for ALL Britwell residents and no-one has any opinions that differ from his

6) No supporters of STFC live in Britwell

One possible reason Mr Janik has no feelings for STFC might just be because he's a fairly recent mover in to Slough. Lived in Iver Heath for the last 10 years or so.
