I don't know, I think we are all concentrating on finishing this season and avoiding the bottom place at the moment. Obviously the last two weeks has done nothing to help our cause.

Are you sure? Wasn't at the game I saw against Aylesbury recently. Was the same manager as last season.

Would imagine Bakes is affording himself a small chuckle about now!!!!

So who for Egham manager next season? Mark Butler? PB from Camberley, is he now at Knaphill? What about yourself Weebs?

Egham should be VERY disappointed with the game today

Molesey won 4-1 with 9 fringe/reserve players playing to rest people for the big semi final on Saturday

Tuesday.. And yes the club must be over the moon with getting rid of Bakes... wots that 1 point from 21...............

PB is at north greenford

Heard eversley put out a weak side and played all first teamers in the ressies,, any truth!

Really struggling with injuries at the moment. Heard that South Park were very good today though.

No truth in the rumour though. Stephen Taylor played as he had work in the morning and couldn't make the South Park meet time. Also Sam Scully played as he can only make home games at the moment (due to running a taxi business).

Good game and BS did well to get a draw. Not particularly impressed that no players came into the bar after the game though. This is becoming more and more common in the reserve division.

Dont worry cos it happens at premier level too. Not one Ash player came into the cove bar yesterday and the sandwiches went to waste!

I suppose they were particularly upset that they didnt beat 10 man Cove. Cove were reduced to 10 men in the 40th minute when our RB was sent off for kicking out. 2nd half was the same as the 1st with Cove having countless chances to win only for Fish in the Ash goal keeping us out. Ash had a great chance to score with 10 to go but Brad Smith somehow headed onto the crossbar from 4 yds out!

Poor showing from the Ash players for not one player to come into the bar! I reckon a fine will be in the post soon!

Thanks Johno, just what i need is another needless fine & a way to ruin what was a good day

however at least the committee stayed behind

The game........well it was like watching an old game at feltham, ball bouncing over everyones head...but yes you did look the dangerous out of the 2 sides but as you said we had the best chance of the game by far. However with the side we had out its a good point as your the team on form & we are certainly not

I thought that the sheers where a good young side at home had 8 new players had a game plan and they keeped to it very hard working.little man behind the dugout new his stuff

BA, we were just starting to click when we played you but have had players out which has not helped. There is no doubt that we have good players at Sheerwater but I think the more time we can spend together the more consistant we will be, however time has run out with only two games left. If this side stays together for next season plus a couple of additions to make the squad stronger then I think we will do okay.

STAINES 0-1 FARLEIGH

A beautiful April afternoon at Ashford town FC with two determined sides seeking victory.

Last time out in the league Farleigh thumped Staines 5-1 with a hat-trick from top scorer Spencer9.

The playing surface wasn't at it's best, very hard after a lack of rain in the last month and extremely sandy goalmouths.

Staines started brightly with an onslaught of long throws, corners and needless cheap free kicks around the penalty area.

ShiftyOnFire was in fine form commanding his area and organising his defence by claiming everything thrown at him and even sporting a new neon pink jersey.

Farleigh had a few near chances with long range efforts from BlueAndWhiteArmy, Kieran Dias and Sam Blowers which were well gathered by the Staines keeper.

Half time 0-0

Second half saw an early chance for Farleigh's B&Warmy effort on goal took a deflection but was extremely well saved by the impressive Staines keeper.

ShiftyOnFire took a blow to the head midway through the second half but was able to continue considering he couldn't move his jaw.

The breakthrough came from a Spencer9 over hit cross found Rhod Davis to fire back across goal where Kieran Dias's volley'd attempt took a slight deflection off Animal of Staines to put Farleigh 1-0 up with five minutes remaining.

Staines had a few more chances to equalise but were unable to hit the target.

Farleigh held on to completed the league double over Staines.

Fair report shifty, forgot to say hello, didn't know if that was you in goal or not, you got the best ping in ur team by a mile!! Don't forget I nearly scored another o.g with a diving header only to see our keeper to make a great reflex save!!! Dull game, thought a draw would of been fair. Look forward to seeing you next year!

Fair point AU but would it have really hurt for your players to at least gone in to eat the sandwiches ?

But........ u never know Fan............................................... After all right place right time.........................................

SO i take it you dont class DEV as a mate. as i thought, you did not step into a mates shoes.coffee%20%282%29.gif

What's to say Dev will not make a move next year off his own back....., And whats to say I would'nt go with him. It is different if a manager goes of his own accord to another club and when he has been stabbed in the back. You seem to jump on a lot of what I say on here Fan and I have noticed that you were quick to jump on Keyff even though he was right and u were wrong... Have u got a problem with me, us, Hampton or are you getting end of season blues....

SORRY if i hit a raw nerve weebs. no problem with h&r. watched them several times this season. you put a statement out there, and i as you do quite often,i pointed out how, although comendable to mr baker, it would put you in a strange position should dev go. as i have never uttered a word good or bad about h&r. why do you feel the need to throw them up. and yes i have got the blues.coffee%20%282%29.gif

No nerve m8 .. Dev is a m8 of mine, all I am saying is that it would alldepend on the reasons for departure.. And to be honest there is still plenty of football to be played this year and next season will happen really quickly so don't be blue...That is unless u r a united supporter then I can understand it after the weekends result....

Will I see u at Leatherhead 2morr nite... if so the Bovril is on me......
