Would imagine Bakes is affording himself a small chuckle about now!!!!

So who for Egham manager next season? Mark Butler? PB from Camberley, is he now at Knaphill? What about yourself Weebs?

Egham should be VERY disappointed with the game today

Molesey won 4-1 with 9 fringe/reserve players playing to rest people for the big semi final on Saturday

Tuesday.. And yes the club must be over the moon with getting rid of Bakes... wots that 1 point from 21...............

Molesey won 4-1 with 9 fringe/reserve players... which Steve Webb suggested may be the case when he came visiting on Tuesday to see the first half of the draw with Sandhurst. I am lost for words (unless someone starts provoking me, in which case I will be the gobby bugger I usually am). We took the lead early on with an Aaron Taylor header; the last time that happened we stuffed Wembley 7-1. Not much chance of that as our defending was rubbish again, apart from some superb saves by Justin Gray. I thought the ref was pretty crap but that is not the reason we lost. Hats off to the Molesey keeper Colin Baker, who made a string of excellent saves, almost all of them from the unfortunate Matt Grave, who put in a real shift that suggested he is on his way back to his best form. I had thought that the spirited comeback (OK, one goal) on Tuesday signposted a better immediate future but even though we did, undeniably, play some of our best football in recent weeks it clearly was far from good enough. Epsom & Ewell away, Chertsey Town and Badshot Lea at home; no great expectations of anything from those games from me. This season can't end quickly enough. As I said before I hope Mr Hamsher has good contacts.

I think thats a fair assesment... Just one thing our 'keeper today was Colin Harris, not Baker

Never in a million years mate... Nothing against the club as I like Egham its just that they are a bit trigger happy with their managers ... I also would never step into a mates shoes.... Not my style....

y would he want the egham job when he's setting a great path at hampton and a natural to follow dev.good luck mate.

You are indeed correct. Perhaps I have Baker on my mind. I wish Molesey the very best of luck against Leatherhead on Tuesday.

Why is it that no one has blamed the players for the poor results they still pick up there money every week Think John needs to bring in his own players next season and tell most of the players that played today to do one as they let us the suporters, themself down today Big Time :flame:

Worcester Park 3-1 Westfield

Unlucky to leave empty handed particualy after our first half performance. We took an early lead and had another dissallowed. WP scrambled in from a corner on half time.

2nd half WP were the better side and went ahead on 70 mins before wrapping the game up deep in stoppage time on the break.

New changing facillities are decent and they are a friendly bunch.

Cracking barmaid too . Deffo the best in CCL 1
