Been watching the forum with some interest for a while and feel its time to speak I was @ the southend manor and BGU game few weeks back and got to say the way BGU where treated was nothing but shocking, got to the ground to find know one there to great them then there management was told they have to pay for tea, then when the coach of bgu started to set up the drill for the warm up the manager started to moan no not there mate got to go to the over the other side and said you should read the sign in the changing room, then has the game started the southend m went 2.1 up well deserved lead not taking that away from them, then all the balls go missing and when the bgu manager is asking for balls they start abusing bgu bench then a bgu player got smashed from behind right in front of the dugout and the MANAGER of manor said to his players great tackle son and this Bering in mind was a nasty tackle and the player needed treatment, then bgu manager said that’s out of feecking order and the manor manger started provoking bgu manager by saying to his player do it again great challenging, any way after the whistle the manor player ran trough the club house changing rooms and outside bgu’s changing room banging on the door like they won the world cup I could not believe it well I took it that was manor’s biggest win in there history, against a team that only started 10 years ago

You have got to be kidding me.....

a) the balls were on the half way line the whole game

b ) yes it was a hard challenge and maybe worthy of a yellow card however the only person who didn’t moan was the player himself who got straight up and ran off

(no treatment was needed)

c) the Manor manager would never say to hurt a player on purpose (challenge hard yes but always fair)

d) when the BGU manager threatened the Manor manager that if he went to their ground next season he wouldn’t make it out of East London.....that sounds like a threat to me that shouldn’t be involved in football but a hooligan film which is how he behaved during the game threatening to chin him and hurt him!!

e) In 3 games against BGU last season we had 4 people taken to hospital following bad tackles and an elbow which smashed a player’s cheekbone.

f) 6 points out of 6......not bad for a park team with park players and park management.

Edited by Squadron Leader.....

You are Gaffa (BGU Manager) 110% and I claim my prize, I can tell by the shocking spelling and punctuation. Was that really a whole sentence without a single full stop.

Love the way so many people come on here and hide behind forum names as 'new members'!!!

By the way Justin, how could that have been the "biggest win in there history" when they completed the league double over you this season.

On hospitality, I think many other club's would agree Southend Manor's is up with the best in this league and the commitee work very hard for the club, opposition and spectators.

One final note Mr Source - Bethnal Green's manager moaned about one tackle when last season they hospitalised 3 Manor players, produced threats and spat at Manor players (Talk is Cheap will remember that).

Up the Manor!

Congrats on winning your cup final last night, you defended very well after taking the lead. Manor looked tired after three games in 3 games in six days but if you dont score you dont win so well done Hullbridge.

Coachy, as someone who actually tends to stick up for you, I was shocked although maybe unsuprised by your comments last night when leaving the pitch - but guess thats the way you roll (literally).

Enjoy 'your day' and good luck in your quest to reach your target = the dizzy heights of 7th place in the Essex Senior League - a position in which you said you 'would acheive' in the local rag.

See you next season, hopefully with Manor restoring order and winning the game and going another 5 years before losing in the league against Hullbridge. Good luck with the rest of your season.

JJ

Tired???? You played your fringe players v Witham on Tuesday and I was there watching! From our sources inside your camp this was your real Cup final and yourself and Bads played 6 minutes v Witham. a cameo role saving your energy for the Derby. The problem you are so unfit you couldn't match an half-fit Oaks which really isn't blessed with blistering pace.No excuses you got beaten fairly and square just admit it.

Coachy, as I said, I actually stick up for you at times, but maybe I can see why (alongside Gaffer @ BGU) you are the most hated manager in the league.

Instead of getting personal, how about you be the bigger (Shouldn't be hard) man and just try your best to make the dizzy heights of 7th place which you all but guarenteed in the local paper. On that mind blowing target, I think I am correct in saying that would be your highest finish in 5 years as the Hullbridge Manager WOW what an acheivement- no wonder you never got any of the other numerous jobs you have applied for during your reign as the 'Bridge gaffer.

Good luck today and well done Thursday.

JJ

Is it true today you lost to Bowers as well? Never take that two bobs pro-Manor newspaper reporter seriously.....he even said that Canvey were underachieving!!!

During my Hullbridge reign I never applied for any job and if you can prove the opposite I'll buy you another ticket to Bangkook. You know JJ there won't be any order restored...once the trend has changed then. it's difficult to reverse it and the Hullbridge pigs will fly over Southchurch Park like the Chievo ones did over Verona ground.

Arrivederci my friend I always wanted to sign you and I respect a valliant opponent.Bow to you

That's what it is like to be a leader suck hammer. I give coachie some stick and you are all coming out of the woodwork. Been quiet on here without me. I would probably say I was a legend.

Don't know what your source is but for the record I left Bowers through my own choice which both Colin and Gary can confirm. If you prefer to think I was bombed then please be my guest. I am certainly not going to worry about a little scrote, I don't even know, coming on a forum to score points against me. Enjoy fanatsising over me, PM me your address and I will send you a signed photo.

Regards.
