Apology to all Slough Town Fans

Adil Berdai

Recommended Posts

Me Adil Berdai was chanting "YOU FAT [****!!****]" during the home fixture against Northwood on the 9th April 2011.

After asking for people's opinions about swearing at home games it was clear that people were not pleased with my foolish chant that i repeated throughout the game,

My problem is that when i go to a football match i go to a stadium with thousands of fans when i follow Watford FC up and down the country and even at home games, swearing is heard in every corner of the stands and it's become a natural thing for me to hear and i've grandually found myself joining in. So when i go to Slough fixtures that habbit is still with me and with 250-300fans it's not going please a lot of fans as it is not something Slough hear at home games.

I want to be part of this beautiful club and not rejected by our fans, I'm very sorry and what i can promise you is that i wont use foolish chants such as "YOU FAT [****!!****]" or any other pointless chants.

I will see you all at Beconsfield, REBELS!!!

You are in a similar position to me Adil, Coming from regular Championship/Premiership Football to Non league. It is a different world, but one that i am enjoying thoroughly and following my home town for the 1st time in some years has a special feel to it.

UP the Rebels!

We've nearly all done our fair share of stupid things at games (some of us still do...), but we always need new fans especially ones that are up for singing.

Quite right Adil. We need new supporters, including ones who want to offer vocal support to the team.

Keep coming along to watch the Rebels - but leave the excessive stuff in the Rookery End!

It's such a big change and i love it as well, we may not have the thousands of people chanting but we have a few hundered people that go to a game for the same reason. When i finally move out of Slough and this country in a few years my first intention when i come back will be to watch the Rebels. I have so much love for this club and i really want to witness us going up.

I hope we do Adil. Did you go to the playoffs last year?

You should definitely be there this year as in games like that all the Rebels supporters find their voices. It makes for a very good atmosphere!!

C'MON YOU REBELS!!!!
