Enjoyed the game, in the end Slough Deserved a Point...Really Played wel IMO.....

Arlesey were very relieved at the final whistle ! Slough had taken the game to them and their really had to work very hard !

Well done Slough...

Imo , sad to see Chris Herron substituted , we went very flat on the left wing when he was withdrawn !

Agree with Chris, we went and played football and this lead to them having to deploy spoiling tactics to stop us playing.

Hope we do not end up in the same leauge as them next year as it is one of the most depressing clubs we have been to this year - top of the leauge and next to no home fans - I think there was more Hitchin fans than home fans there last night! - the burger bar only opened 3 mins before kick off and I should know as I stood at the front of the que for over 20 mins waiting for them to decide to open up and when they did they were totally disorganised.

Think I may have upset there chairman when I mentioned it was nice to see tickets being issued at the turnstiles this time! - at least this time he will know what he will have to declare to the leauge.

Overall a club which has little to do with the values of non-leauge football - hope they they go bust.

Still think we should have completed the original game, as being 1-0 up and seeing how they played last night, I think we could have got more out of the abandoned game than we did last night - but that was a management decission.

agreed Arlesey used every trick in the book to frustrate and close down our pressure but i spose thats got to be done at times to win the league which they surely will do now (though you would never have guessed it as their fans didnt even react at full time other than to get out of the ground as soon as they could seemingly)

overall we gave a right good effort without ever creating all that much

2nd half other than a few earlier chances from them it was pretty much all Slough

gotta agree with Sliski the Herron sub was at the very least made to early as he was our main source of attack. felt sorry for him the way he went and sat in the corner for a while clearly to calm down his frustration and disapointment. may have been a fitness issue but he was looking our only chance of really scoring again. moving Sonner right after Porter went off didnt really pay off either but Byrne needed someone out there to help him

my man of the match was probably Shaun Byrne who was playing right back which wasnt ideal but he done a good job against an Arlesey who looked good when they actually kept the ball down and passed at pace but so often they just hoofed it. Logie was probably another stand out

think as said we deserved a point but wasnt to be. good performance considering we had no Woozley, Sweeney, Sinclair and Adam Martin

gotta make sure we get something at Leighton now. if we put that sort of effort in i think we can get something for sure
