Highs and Lows of Season 10/11

With the Season drawing ever nearer to it's conclusion, and still nothing decided, just wondered what peoples Highs and Lows where.

Highs for me:- A great day out in Cobham,Fans Focus Charity Match,Seeing a better standard of Football being played in C.C.L.,Better Officials,an improved C.C.L.Website,and probably for the first time ever an Hon. Secretary in Alan Constable who has been open and honest on this site.and kept us informed of what is going on in C.C.L.Finally meeting all the posters on here,Nice Knowledgable People, who have made this site what it is,long may it last.

Lows for Me:- Not meeting NICE GUY,who whether you like him or not,is a great part of this Forum. He gets under my skin sometimes with his QUESTIONS,his L.O.L.,but he knows his Football for sure.Just a shame he feels obliged to be the Invisible Man.But the Question I get asked most when I go to games,is who is this NICE GUY FELLA.

Then there is the Question of what we can say on here,2 threads pulled by Clubs because they did not like what they were reading, one about the way a Young Player was treated, the Second a Players views on Officials, none of them slanderous, just honest open opinions, that would stand the test in any Court.Freedom of Speech died, on these days in my opinion.

Highs .... End of the season.

Lows .... Beginning of the season

Seriously I cannot wait until the end of the 2010/2011 season. It's been a long drawn out one. Problems with players from premiership to park levels. Referees being assaulted, low attendances, well below half decent standards of match officials, Big long breaks due to the weather plus a whole host of other stuff.

This has hardly been the season of highlights, no big finals worthy of note, no fun incidents that make you go LOL and no score lines that make you say "damn wish I was at that game".

Roll on 2011/2012 which we all know will be the same again, but will be not this season!

Been an interesting season for me.

Low point- has to be TRS unfortunately capturing my stinker against Guildford City for Cove.

High points- Returning to Knaphill and scoring a crucial goal in the beating of Cobham (especially when their match report contained ‘Cobham lost to one of the weaker sides in the division). Yeah, look where we both are now!

And of course recently beating and most probably ending Bedfont Sports chances of promotion! Coz they’re such a lovely bunch……

High - Fans Forum XI v Woking Peacocks

Low - Saturday v Chobham. Worst game I have ever played in and after 20 years of adult football that takes some doing. Roll on Saturday so I can forget about it.

Missing the opportunity of meeting me recently ;)

As I cannot recall when this auspicious occasion was meant to have taken place then I regret to say it cannot be either a high or a low. Sorry. Now take that tongue out of your cheek...

High - beating Wembley 7-1, I suppose, or beating Molesey in the Vase. No-one saw that coming. Low - yep, SB being sacked by PB - very few saw that coming. It has been a season the end of which cannot come quickly enough. Let us see what sort of manager Mr Hamsher is without the weight of recent events on his shoulders.
