The blindingly obvious thing yeaterday was how much we missed our Captain and Leader.

 

There he was before tha match putting the team through thier warming up paces, giving them little encouraging pep talks even the last minute excercises just before kick off.

 

Then as other have commented the ref blew the whistle and down Detling Hill it went. The Captain was not there to steady the ship give encouragement to the young lads and it got worse and down Mont Blanc we went.

 

 

Half time came and The Captain remained on the pitch I suppose the side improved a little bit and we climbed up a bump like that at Deadwood.

 

 

However, The Captain was not there to push us on and unfortunaley we speed down K2 (just avoided Everest).

 

This Captain is so important to the success of MFC that if I was in charge I would put him on a 5 year contract now and send him off to coaching school so that when he retires he will still be with us in some sort of coaching/management capacity.

 

Infact if he was in charge of the team now I can actually see us in winning a game this season which unfortunatley I cannot see at the present.
