paying one of the highest wages in the league and finishing just above the drop zone - fantastic

LOL I like that Chris!! I agree - why are we congratulating IOC?! He got all his mates to play for him and paid them excessive amounts (from what ive heard - could all be rumours) then done nothing...the club doesnt deserve to be congratulated, it needs to get sorted QUICK, get the new manager in place, get rid of all the players who arent up to the grade and get in new players so we can improve VASTLY on this season

Playing the players excessive amounts! How do you know what the players

earn ! Remember all payments are sanctioned by the Board.

"then done nothing" I would of thought that bearing in mind what was happening off the field, finishing outside the bottom four for the first time in three years was a good start!

Time is always a factor for any Manager to improve his team. However the time factor is not deemed an important considerstion by the club when rebuilding the ground. After all we are still waiting after ten years!

I agree with the time factor for any manger having at least a two year contract would be good for all concerned

But you are wrong about the payments are sanctioned by the board, the board set the budget, how that budget is then split amongst the players is down to the manager

I cant wait for this season to be over, a new manager to be appointed (god knows who though) , I wonder how long a contract the new manager would be given

I would agree that normally the Manager has an agreed budget and he decides how it is spent . However, the situation changed this season shortly after Cliff Egan said in the club programm how disappointed he was that he had been unable to secure further financial backing for the club due to the financial downturn. The Board then sanctioned or not the players wages. The players wages were then cut by 10% and some were off off loaded.

The new ground is the key to any stability for the club. Sadly things will not improved until that is sorted.

Then start kicking out at the people who are causing and have caused the majority of the delays over the years

Sandy Ezekiel, Mick Tomlinson, Simon Moores....and all the other little Hitlers who have not represented our interests whilst being elected by us doing a part time overpaid underwork job which we are picking up the bill.

We would have had a new ground the year we won promotion to the Conference but for the council sitting on a report for SIX months
