Our games against Arlesey and Biggleswade will not only have a big say in the title race, but also who finishes where in the play-off positions all very tight between 1,2,3 & 4th.

Rugby look to have a much easier finish to the season and could easily get 3 wins.

 

For obvious reasons IMO we have to avoid getting the required 4 points from the last 2 games against Biggleswade and Beaconsfield.

To be honest, I'd rather we didn't finish higher than 4th as odd as that sounds. I just think we would fair better playing away in a play off game than on the Holloways Park pitch. Although we need to secure the position first.

The sooner we do get the points however, the better. We must play better on Tuesday than we did today however, but we did it last Tuesday so we can do it again! COYR!!!

And that's the reason I want us to get home advantage - we are hopeless on bumpy dustbowls with a dreadful bounce. And Daventry's and Biggleswade's pitches are as bad as Holloways Park.

 

Which is why if it has to be the play-offs for us, I would rather face you in the Final at Top Field, where the two best footballing teams in the division could contribute to a great game.

The dustbowl situation is down to the sprinkler system which is, errr, inadequate! The tank takes several hours to fill and 20 minutes to empty. I'm no grass laying expert but I can see a problem in that system.

Apparently the sprinkler system is not used during the season, only during the off season!

 

If this is so, surely we should have a say in this matter?
