How wrong could I have been?

 

Devoid of ideas. Continual long ball to the forwards. Poor defending. Team with very few ideas.

 

The only time we played with any conviction was when Jay came on and we played the ball on the ground. The result? A scrappy, yet much needed equaliser. What did we then do? Shoot ourselves in the foot by giving away a dreadful goal in the last minute.

 

Oh dear!

Andy, you'll never win the pools making predictions like that.

 

However, Ware have had a bad run of results recently, and we did beat them 4 - 0 at home in January, so your prediction (whilst wrong!) was not totally unrealistic.

 

That said, your summary of the match seems at odds, to say the least, with the potted report on the official club website.

Not arrogant in the least. Given that we were a lot higher in the table than Ware, then I would have hoped we would have won. However, it was not to be. Do you hope you are going to beat teams below you when you play them? I bet you do.

I hope to beat teams above and below in the league but i never make stupid predictions as i know this league can kick you in the a*se.

Lots of draws?

 

 

 

Bit similar to an attacker crossing himself when he scores a goal. If goalkeepers did the same, then there would be loads of 0-0 scorelines.

 

 

 

PS. I won £10.00 on the lottery on Saturday. Lost at golf though on Sunday.
