Town travel to Theobalds Lane on Tuesday evening to take on Cheshunt.

Those coming along to the reserve game on Tuesday will see some of the regular reserve team boys who have battled away for us this season along with U17's who will represent our U18's next season. With Cheshunt not having a first team game it could be a very challenging night for the ETFC youngsters. So long as they are up for a challenge and to see themselves strtched to new levels.

 

They've all battled admireably to date despite the 6 defeats out of 6 away from home.

Those who watched would i'm sure agree that an entertaining game swung our way with some ruthless finishing in the first 20 mins of the second half. Cheshunt had most of the first half possession but we came in 1-1 after taking the lead. However once Volkan went up front he assisted the three quick goals for young Billy, Aaron and impressive debutant in Adem Ali. Adem scored 2 in the end and should have had 5, I suppose cheshunt were glad he was only on for 30mins.

 

A pleasing night which complimented the hard work. We now face league leaders and champions elect Aveley away next weds, now that won't be easy, particularly as half our boys won't be available as they are away on a school trip.
