Dorking 3-0 Sandhurst Town

 

Superb Chicks performance against what we know is a good Fizzers side. Chicks were great from start to finish, didn't let Sandhurst play and seemed to be first to every ball. To be honest it could and should have been more and Fizzers were restricted to a few half chances. Good game to watch and pleased to capture a Chicks win on camera for once! Be interesting to get DT10's thoughts in due course.

 

Bad news for Guildford, as i'm sure Fizzers will be out to prove a point on Saturday.

Probably the best I have seen Dorking play all season. Not just the usual one half game, but a two half game,

 

Dorking never gave an inch, and battled for every ball.

 

Chicks picked up 5 yellows by the end. Not sure hoiw many Sandhurst got, but it seemed to be a full pack of cards game for the referee who will definitely be busy writing tonight.

South Park 1-0 Westfield

 

 

Absolutely gutted and can’t believe we’ve left without at least a point.

 

Started really well and hit the post early on. Home side came back into it and had lots of possession but struggled to create any clear cut chances. We smacked the underside of the bar just before the break.

 

Second half we created the better chances again. Their keeper who was superb all night pulled off a couple of decent saves but we were undone by a superb 30 yard free kick 8 minutes from time. SP missed a sitter after that as we pushed forward but our last effort from a free kick in injury time flew over.

 

Good bunch down at South Park on and off the pitch and had a couple of beers as usual after the game. Hour to get home though as slip roan onto M25 shut

 

Good luck for the remainder of the season and I think you will finish top 3

Knaphill (baker pen) 1-0 Eversley

 

 

Hard fought win, played at great pace with total commitement from both sides and played in a hard, but fair manner. Sav's first game back at Redding Way - so plent y to play for. Obvious penalty, but great saves from Shelley kept The Knappers in the game as Eversley stormed back. Relief to hear the final whistle. Great spirit after the game, spent a long time chatting to Daniel about almost everything going on. Plenty of visitors and ground hoppers, great to see Alan Constable, especially after having Chris Conlon visit on Saturday.

 

Fourteen games undefeated after 3 wins in first 15 games. If only.......

 

Big game at home to Bedfont Sports on Saturday followed by derby clash against Chobham, home again, on Tuesday. U18's semi-final v Cobham next Thursday, the games just keep on coming! Always a warm welcome to everybody done at Redding Way - we look forward to seeing you all soon.

I believe I was standing next to you second half Knapmeister. Ground looked great under the lights and good to see a decent turn out despite a big evening of football on the TV! Will stroll along the road and pop along again next Tuesday to see the derby

I thought Dorking deserved the 3 points they were better than us all over the park on the night no complaints from me!!

yeah been there all season, missed alot of the season tho. They've got a good manager there, and picking up points against decent sides. Lets hope our luck changes before its too late
