Dorking 3-0 Sandhurst Town

Superb Chicks performance against what we know is a good Fizzers side. Chicks were great from start to finish, didn't let Sandhurst play and seemed to be first to every ball. To be honest it could and should have been more and Fizzers were restricted to a few half chances. Good game to watch and pleased to capture a Chicks win on camera for once! Be interesting to get DT10's thoughts in due course.

Bad news for Guildford, as i'm sure Fizzers will be out to prove a point on Saturday.

Good result there Brunty, was there any sendings off?

Not today mate - pretty convincing win in the end and could have had 2 or 3 more in the last few mins if not for the keeper !

Warlingham 3-0 Bedfont Sports

For the first time in 4 games Wars were able to field a strong side with players back from injuries and were determined to get their season back on track against league leaders Bedfont Sports. Both teams started brightly and both looked to play at a high tempo. Wars took the lead on 6 mins when Lewis Longhurst found space in the bedfont box to slot home and put Wars 1 up. It was a very good game of football and both sides enjoyed good possession half chances to both sides fell as wars exploited the full back areas and on 25 Longhurst again found himself free in the box but put his header wide from 6 yards. Bedfont did have the ball in the net but was ruled out for offside on 30 mins. Wars battled well and on 40 mins were awarded a penalty when the impressive Bedfont keeper blocked Jansen's path to goal. Up stepped Brunty only to see his pen hit the post and rebound to Baker who smashed home to put Wars 2-0 up at the break.

Bedfont started the brighter in the second half but with the Wars defence all fit and once again back together Bedfont were left to try their luck from long range. No side really created alot in the second half if anything Bedfont had the better chances as they pushed forward but where they pushed Wars exploited and Rideout, Bugden, Jansen and Longhurst were causing Bedfont problems. On 84 mins good work from Rideout allowed Brunty to hit a 30 yard ball to Jansen at the back stick who volleyed home to put Wars 3-0 and it was fully deserved. Wars could and should have had a 4th on 88 mins but the outstanding number 4 for Bedfont- Ricky Owen blocked on the line.

Overall a dominant display from Warlingham. Defensively outstanding and a fully deserved win. Some excellent individual performances from Wars and also Ricky Owen of Bedfont Sports.
