Probably nothing in it but i note the position is club manager which possibly implies that the new manager will be expected to take an active interest in first, reserve and academy teams .

Probably me just reading something into something unintended

I am slightly confused with the club saying that they hope the new Manager will be in charge for the last two games of the current season. Kevin Raine was appointed as temporary Manager until the end of the current season according to the club statement at the time. So possibly three managers in one season?

I guess they are waiting to see which way the ground decision goes which will probably impact on how much money they can promise to the new man for next season.

  • 2 weeks later...

If 'on track' only about a week to go then !!

If Manager is to be in place for the last two games-surely as its over the easter period he/she will be equally likely to be in place for the last 3 games ,attracting a bumper crowd for the lowestoft game ?

-unless of course the plan all along is that he wil say goodbye to his current team on the saturday .

6 candidates interviewed - no shortage of interest then since it has not been formally advertised. Much as I am sure we appreciate KR stepping in at short notice it is a results business and results have not been good enough under his temporary tenure.
