The heroes of Barkingside

For those that weren't there Ian Cooper had his arm wrenched out of socket at the Barkingside game as he was brought down in the early part of the game. The player who brought him down by yanking his arm walked - Good decision by the ref. Ian determined to play on then popped his shoulder back into its socket on the pitch and then played on till the last few minutes when he was subbed by Keke St Hillaire.

When Ian Cooper got to hospital they found in his keeness to play on he had popped it back in the wrong way and he then had 7 hours in theatre to put it right. A brave performance - I hope he comes back soon!

PS Question for League Chairman is Keke St Hillaire the youngest player to score and ESL goal?

If Mr St Hilaire is willing to divulge his birthdate through your goodself then that is fine and we can take it from there. As such information is confidential to the League I regret there is no other alternative... having said all that I can recall Mr Mercer at Stansted and others playing one or two fifteen year olds in the past but whether they scored or not will take a bit of research .
