re attendances.. when col u. were in the conf they did very well, in the season they got promoted were getting crowds twice the size they do now mid table in div 2!! everyone loves a promotion season.. i would envisage southend getting bigger crowds than they do now if they got relegated but were then sucessfull in the conf and went back up.. i reckon the same would apply to most ryman clubs not making the conf south this season if they were then sucessful in the ryman

when i said 'double relegation' what i ment was this: as we stand at the moment, to gain entry to the conference we would need one promotion. If we end up in the 'new ryman premier' we will be two promotions away from entry to the conference premier division.

think i just worded it wrong!

your just doing it on purpose now!!! LMU help me out here!

I thought the teams that were in the automatic relagtion positions went straight into what will become the 'new' ryman prem.

Oh i dont know!! all i now is, if you are in the new ryman prem at the start of next season, you will need to be promoted from that to get into the new conference south. you will then need to win the new conference south to gain entry to the existing conference.

Please no more!!! it doesnt matter as we are going to finish 13th this season, thanks to a 15 match unbeaten run in the second half of the season.

No, you can still be invited to take part of the "new" conference league if you are invited. remember there maybe some teams that end up higher than us that may not have the financial clout to take part or just don't wanna go any further.

And there is the added bonus of some play off thingy.

So, if we qualify forthe play offs next summer will be a football feast for us 'Ricay supporters. Play off's in May and then straight on to Euro 2004. Great...Any ladies out there wanna go on holiday with their hubbies are gonna sadly be disapointed...(I know someone who will be tired of the constant Footie on TV....lol)

Right you lot let's get this sorted.

The Alliance division will be made up of those teams finishing above 13th and those teams who win through the play-offs (and 1 team relegated from the conference). Those teams who finish in the bottom 4 are NOT eiligible for play-offs and will go into the "new" ryman prem (level 7 in the pyramid. The current Ryman prem is level 6. The new alliance leagues will be level 6) along with those teams who lose in the play offs and those teams who finish high enough up in div1 N and S.

This means those teams that finish bottom 4 will drop down one level in the pyramid the same as if no restructuring was to take place. The only diference is they will be joined by those teams failing to make it through the play-offs. Clear now?
