I cant really see the relevance of blaming Steve Browne for possible problems with management this season. He has been gone for a while now and the new managment team are grown men capable of making their own decisions. I have never been Brownes biggest fan but we should be looking to the future not blaming him for everything that happens now.

I watched the first half from the stand and thought it was a good game of footie - but slough seemed to seriously lose it in the second half and croydon were very quick and strong on the break.

Best team i've seen in the league so far, which isn't saying much...nice club tho'and although not masses of supporters, they seem well run with a decent clubhouse and a nice new stand that i had to sit in because i was so hungover. Hey, they even did toasted cheese sanies...

ps went to see afc wimbledon play pagham yesterday...now that was a crap game of football - makes me appreciate watching slough and how good we are in comparison (maybe all the old moaners should be banished to beaconsfield for a month to get some perspective).

You mean that that wasn't your first team?

Our player of the season last year is on his way back after breaking a leg pre season. Two of the subs who would normally go straight onto the team sheet were recovering from niggling injuries. The first choice left winger broke down in a pre match fitness test. WE could get better if we can keep everybody happy.

We need to hit at least top six, otherwise we'll be candidates for entry into the FA Vase next year I think!

Now THAT would be embarassing.... slipping even further down the pyramid... give us hope !!

Who is blaming Steve Browne. It is only natural that you are influenced by working with someone over a number of years. I wonder how much was being controlled by Eddie last season being as Browne didn't seem to care.
