Nok me darn wiv a fevver! We actually agree on something. These are indeed very relevant questions and I would think the answers would be:

1. No

2. No.

3. Probably.

4. Basic if any.

5. You sleep in the clubhouse.

6. Fat chance.

7. They should do but have they even considered it?

8. What colour is the sky on your planet?

9. About 4, unless they are risking their tax status.

You missed a couple, methinks. What about their League Cup games, which are played, normally, in midweek? Do they have a 3G pitch so they can guarantee they can get games played on, I presume, alternate Saturdays? How do they and / or the league plan to resolve fixture issues if we have a bad winter that affects travel? Will they be in the same FA Competitions as (most of) the rest of us? What about coping with a decent run in those competitions? Is there a definite answer yet about whether they will be in CCL One or Premier? This whole thing strikes me as one long April Fool.

With £750k sponsorship, probably fly into Farnborough Airport by private jet, then be whisked off to the Hilton,Park Lane for an overnight stay after beating them 8-1.Even Chertseytown could win the C.C.L.with that budget.

Or maybe not.

With that sort of sponsorship i cant see them hanging round this league for long can you.... A.f.c. Wimbledon a few yrs back pops to mind... And im sure they didnt have that sort of budget

So they come in all big and brash and new and buy the title (or both titles) and then *ugger off to Zamarettoland. They have all the money and we all have the unalloyed thrill, and huge expense, of trying to get to see our teams for the away game. We were panicking about a replay with Newport (IOW) in the Vase on a Tuesday. That seems to be a walk in the park compared to a trip to the Channel Islands. Let joy be unconfined.

Wait till LOVERBOY Brunty gets to Guernsey,he will ask the first Girl he meets do you want to STAY THE NIGHT.She then SUDDENLY removes all her clothes.I want LOVE ON DELIVERY she demands,Brunty steps back and takes a deep breath, then in an Instant ,says come on girl lets TEAR DOWN THESE WALLS,she says ARE YOU READY,i'm WAITING FOR YOU,but Brunty has second thoughts, and thinks to himself why is this beautiful chick interested in me,RED LIGHT SPELLS DANGER,and decides it is TIME TO MOVE ON as he is not one for TAKING CHANCES.

An interesting thought just come into my head say they are put into the Premier, firstly are there 42 saturdays in a season,if not then some games would have to be midweek.Would it be fair for them to have to play all their midweek games away. Not forgetting Cup games, which are mainly played midweek.Or would say some C.C.L. sides have to fly over, how would this be done BY LOTTERY.

I note their coach isTony Vance, who coached Guernsey to victory in the FA Inter-League Cup. He won't know too many decent players then.

Can't be that good mind, they lost to Turkish side Ankara when representing England in the UEFA Regions Cup coffee%20(2).gif

Tony Vance who's he,nothing on Tucks and Duncs, they will have him in their pockets.

A thought from me....

What happens if we have a lot of canx games again next season ( as we probably will ) and they have to come over on a Sat / Tue / Sat..... Another thought is say a club draws them in a cup away and has to mplay them Sat / Tue away. Now I know that would be financially painful no matter what the budget.

Thoughts.............

I've heard that they will only pay for 20 team members.

Lets assume, a full squad including drawing/naming from 6 possible subs + Manager + Coach + Physio = 20.

So, no Committee/Club Sec/Club Chairman/Club members ??

Rumour has it they MIGHT be asked to increase the 20 to 25, (allegedly !!)
