It is the biography of Gordons career as Manager of Southall, Hounslow, Yeading and Wealdstone FC and it’s a little bit different from the usual biographies as Gordon has spent 25 years in the non-league game generally at clubs with no money and with players that struggle to get time off from their day jobs (as does Gordon as a School Teacher), but the pressure to perform and get results remains the same. It’s certainly an insight into the ‘sharp end’……..or should that be the blunt end….
