Margate reserves 2 v 5 Northwood.

 

In their first game since the 5^th of March, Margate took on a very combative Northwood side.

 

Northwood littered with Margate players, i.e. CJ, Joe Powell and Eddie Menga + Deal Town first teamer Sam Pain, gave a good account and ran out 5-2 winners.

 

Margate started with pretty well a 1^st team. After a slow start which saw North wood take a 2 goal lead the home side pulled one back through a classic Robinson family goal when, Courtney Robinson leapt to head the ball in, at the back post.

 

Margate came more into the game, and started to take the ball to Northwood.

2nd half saw changes to personnel, the guys who are hopefully on the bench Saturday replaced with the more inexperienced lads.Also Mike Dudley was replaced by Matt Lamprill in the home goal.

 

Northwood took advantage of this and ran out the winners.

 

M-O-M for me was the Northwood Keeper who was excellent on the night.
