To Kieron St Aimee who has moved to Kettering, although I believe that if we get into the play offs he will be allowed to play for us.

We have also signed a young chap (centre forward) from Hendon who is a quality forward if it's the chap I am thinking about, think he will go straight into the squad for Saturday

I don't know which chap you're thinking about - but the one you've signed from us (Hendon) is one who couldn't get into our starting line up on a regular basis this season, and was an unused sub against you at Vale Farm ten days ago.

Is it Daniel Dyer you have signed?

No, it's Brian Haule that they've signed. Anyone who tried to sign Danny would have been on an immediate loser - he starts a 4 match ban tomorrow for the red card he got against you a couple of weeks ago.

To be honest i believe that he had come back from an injury and just wanted to get a few games under his belt and to put himself in the shop window so to speak.

As far as i know there was no contract so no fee, although kettering have said that should we get to the play offs then we will be able to play him.

In all honesty,he has only been with us a month or so and if it doesn't work out for him at kettering i am sure we may see him back as he said we was the best club he had played for, apparantly he really enjoyed his short time here.

I think most players with half a brain always say that though mate, at the time (not saying it;s not true or that). End of the day, if you have your head screwed on, telling people you like them and enjoyed etc is always going to go down well, so is the sensible thing to say.

Good luck to him anyway, sounds like a decent player. Will have to tell Stilly to keep an eye on his progress ;)

46 goals in 144 games is a decent enough turnaround for someone who apparantly sits on the bench.Less than 1 in 3 ratio, maybe the player went a bit stale at hendon,no offence but its hardly the most awe inspiring place to play football

It's 53 goals in 144 games over his time with the club (which goes back to 2002), so slightly better than you thought. However, this season, he started 6 games, came on as sub 11 times, and scored just 2.

If you can get him firing again - he's not really been in the goals for the past 2 seasons, whether it be with us, Ashford Town (Middx) or Hemel Hempstead, then you have a decent striker. However, he is nothing like the player that scored 27 goals in a season for us a few years ago.

Good luck for the rest of the season
