Im pleased to announce that bedfont sports have passed there ground inspection today an if we finish in the top three will be promoted next season!! A massive thankyou to all behind the scenes an to thr reader family for making this possible its just upto me an the players to stay in the top three!!!!!

Looks like Guildford City are working late tonight to complete the work they need to pass.

 

There is a real possibility this season that all 14 Step 5 Champions are eligible for and want promotion, but only 12 places available so 2 teams could miss out, despite being Champions, on a points per game basis. How bad would they feel !!!

Well let's hope you get promoted Newby, Lammas have helped you out in the last two games and we've still to play Worcester Park away. We are looking really strong again, just a shame we never got going at Christmas.

 

I think your beat both South Park and Warlingham, although they are both good sides and are capable of beating any side in this league.

NICE GUY,Guildfords efforts on and off the pitch should be applauded.The work they have done to get the Spectrum up to the next standard is good for whatever League they are in next year.It's called progress,maybe other Clubs should take a leaf out of their book and improve theirs.

Being a Chertsey/Molesey ite as you are, I'm sure your comments should be taken as a whole,you have stated on many occassions how you detest the Spectrum,but if you knew there Management/ Players,you would understand that your posts,would drive them on to better things.Likewise the comments made by other posters re Div 1 regarding Bedfont Sports,the teams they have to play have a lot of pride, and hate to lose,their team talk is already done.

I hope Guildford go up so I don't have to go to the Spectrum next year!

 

And then Molesey will win the league next year, Guildford get relegated/ promoted again and then its another year without the Spectrum... Now that Molesey are out of the title race I have to look forwards!

We are being inspected later today and I'm sure the result of that will find its way on here fairly quickly.

 

And NICE GUY, I can confirm that yes, the rumours are true... I have decided to retire from playing duties. I felt that I'd reached my peak when I was an unused substitute at last season's match at Raynes Park Vale. So far this year I have failed to recreate the sort of form that I produced during that single appearance on the bench and so I've hung up my boots.

 

In all seriousness, one of our midfielder/winger/strikers went off to get a bit of match practice but he's back with us now. If anything else has happened then I've not heard yet. But then again, it's been a busy few weeks.
