It was a real mixbag of emotions after this game - relief and delight that we came back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2, but disappointment that we didn't win the match. Their two goals were bad individual errors by Easterford for the penalty and Rusty for not keeping out a long range effort. Had we have equalised in the first half when Jason's goal was ruled out for offside I think we'd have gone on and won it, but it wasn't to be. Bad luck with Rhodesy hitting the post twice, I swear they never used to be that wide!!

 

Even though this was 2 points dropped, this result could prove to be just as important as the Hendon or Tonbridge wins, in that it will put our feet back on the ground and make sure we concentrate more and don't get above ourselves. Hopefully we'll carry out a much more professional job against Folkestone tomorrow night and get into those playoff places.

 

One big positive was that is was an entertaining match infront of a 500+ crowd - hopefully they all enjoyed what they saw! Also, £170+ raised from the Quiz Night in the evening, thanks to everyone who made it happen and who took part.
