Well I am not going to mention that we ended up at the wrong ground last night and who drove !!!

 

BUT eventually we made it to the right ground for the end of the first half and thank goodness for the second which was absolutely brilliant, well done to the lads an excellent win.

Awesome game last night, after the 1st half i couldn't see Slough getting back into it. What a half time team talk it must have been as Slough dominated throughout the second half.

 

Great atmosphere considering it was a youth game. Combined with a mini pitch invasion at the end. (Not involved in that i must add)

 

Even the damn roadworks after the game on the M40 couldn't dampen the spirits last night. Although i am sure the workman were laughing at all the vehilces that had turn around and find another route.

I'm not quite sure why everyone is getting so excited, after all we only won by 3 goals, and conceded two goals. Please remember that winning is not enough for Slough Town fans and please refrain from this positivitey and concentrate on the negatives not the three points. The 3 points are just a minor thing as i've learnt from reading this messageboard the last few weeks...

Thank you to those who made their way to Wealdstone last night .. you certainly made a huge difference to the team at half time !

 

and your support did not go un noticed by the young Rebels...

 

In fact they kept on mentioning it to me .... so a BIG THANK YOU..... to you all....

 

And thanks again To Steve Easterbrook for his support when he has a huge amount on his plate with the new ground.
