Im pretty sure the stand should be up soon mate all looking good just gota stay in top three an hopefully keep winning an others below drop points !! Worc pk dont look like droppin many an i watched when they smashed us 6-3 its the strongest wp side ive seen cant see em getting beat an most of there games are hm fixtures i think, bbm you got em or played em twice mate??

Decent. All our stuff is in place too so need to keep getting points. Ive seen their results have been impressive but we played them a few weeks ago and won 3-1. Didn't think they were that strong against us. Maybe it was because we all had good games and didn't let them play. We drew 1-1 with them aswell at the start of the season. We have Hayes away next wednesday night which will be interesting. I thought they were the best footballing side we have played but seems like they struggle for a consistent team. Did you play in the game against them the other week?

Just returned home from Worcester Park v South Park. What I thought was to be a cracker and a good example of Div 1 football turned out to be less than entertaining.

Yes the pitch is not in a great condition for the beautiful game but at times I felt like I was watching rugby with all the high kicking. I cannot recall a single distribution to either full back on both sides from each keeper. Wastell has a superb range of dead ball delivery but you have to build from the back on occasions. This route 1 option played into both sets of rear guard although the 6ft 4" WP forward should of been more of a threat. Again Wastell proved an integral member of the SP team by 1. keeping a poorly struck penalty out ( nice height for the keeper ) and 2. managing to claw another goal bound effort. No 8 from WP kept Lavery at bay for most parts of the game of which I believe was the key to sucess on the night. Half time came with scores zip zip.

SP came out for the 2nd period brightly but WP held firm with again in particular the young right full back more than holding his own. If only the WP 11 who had pace to burn had a little bit more more bravery in one on one situations I feel he may find himself on the score sheet on a few more occassion. On the opposite side the front line was even less fruitful on the night. First goal came with a fine lob over Wastell to make it 1 - 0. SP tried to lift their game but as I said if the ball is 50ft up in the air for most parts you will find it hard to penetrate defensive straight lines. Second goal came with the WP forward not giving up a lost cause to round the RB and cut back ( may even of scored himself at the front post ) or for the oncoming forward to tap in. SP went with the 3 up top with Lavery in a more advanced position and did manage to pull one back from a corner, but there was to be no time left to ensure a nervous finish. Full time 2 - 1 and overall I was not left with the feeling that either side would do much damage in the Prem Div ( on that showing ) although there were at least 10 players who could comfortably slot in most teams.

Met with the management of WP and must say what a lovely bunch they all were. Attendance was prob no more than 40 of which maybe more than half were SP fans.

This result ensures a tight finish to the season although I find it a shame that WP can never progress due to ground grading. On a lighter note, there seemed to be some sort of meeting in the Carshalton club house during the first half of which I am led to believe Mr Paul Dipre was addressing fans etc etc. At half time when I went to the bar for my Guiness I must of heard at least 3 different people commenting on the [censored] that they had just listened to.

if all upgrades have to be done by 31st march. when do they get inspected.
