It was Stansted's title to 'throw away' as a few people on here said.....looks as though they are trying their best to do so!!!

That's 5 draw's (Ten dropped point's) from there last 8 games. Makes the Enfield v Stansted match a thriller on 16th

Great win for Manor tonight which puts them right back in the hunt for a top three finish.............not bad for a "Park team, with park players and park management" as their manager so eloquently put it during the match right after he threatened to chin our manager after the game.

Shame as the game had been a great game with end to end football. Still we'll take our 6 points and enjoy them on our swings and slide

On last nights game Stansted will win the league and rightly so as they are the best side in this league. A fantastic game of football and fine example for this league with both sides playing at a blistering tempo and trying to pass the ball at every opportunity.

Burnham raced into a two goal lead within the first twenty minutes and had another great chance to extend that lead, which I feel would have ended the game. To be fair Stansted then dominated the second half and probably deserved at least a point. Disappointing to concede two goals in the last 10 minutes but that is why Stansted are still unbeaten. Also real kick in the teeth for us is that Dan Cornwall made a great one handed save on the goalline which both Tel & Dave saw and I think everyone did apart from the ref and Dan admitted to me in the bar he handballed it (I even saw mitre tattoed on his arm!!!) then he goes and gets the equaliser. (Good header albeit)

Only sour point which ruined the game was a 30 man brawl at the final whistle and will be dealt with by myself as if true is totally unacceptable and there is no place in football for what happened. I will not divulge anymore details.

Finally would like to wish Tel, Dave and everyone at Stansted all the best for the season and wish them well for the future

What a game at Southend Manor. Two sides trying to play the game and to be fair Manor could have been 4 goals up inside 20 minutes. Two cracking goals from their number 7 and 10 saw them go in ahead. Bethnal players were honest, hard working and tried to play the right way, but were just not good enough to break down a stubborn Manor.

I was near the dugouts and the Bethnal management were disgraceful. Swearing, bullying the linesman, screaming at their own players and the phrase that their manager said about being a park team was hilarious. It was a strong tackle that deserved a booking but someone in the Manor dugout applauded the commitment, which upset Bethnal and an angry exchange began with some cracking responses from Manor. Including one about 'Dog and Duck taking 6 points off the Rose and Crown!

Still the best way to beat the bullies as my mum used to say is not say anything and let your talent do the talking for you! Thats what Southend Manor did and this young, talented team got the 3 points they deserved.

Well done Manor, again

Agree with most of what you say but to QUOTE Bethnal management were disgraceful is utter garbage? Only 1 person from the away dug out was involved with only 1 person from the Home dug out! The 2 Gaffas,no one else got involved.Your Manager started the bad feeling by applauding a bad tackle from behind. Our Gaffa responded and words were exchanged and i repeat no one else got involved i shook all hands at the end so there was no malice from myself and Niel. The 2 Gaffas dont get along so thats that but i have to laugh at your celebrations at the end its like you won the Leauge? Good luck 4 rest of season look forward to the Gaffa v Gaffa next season?

Didnt fancy going to Southend l;ast night so popped over Stansted, great game agree with your view, however in my opinion Stansted should have got all 3 points as they dominated from the moment they went 2-0 down, you did have a couple of chances on the break and I thought it was a penalty as well, however as you said Stansted showed tthat they dont lie down and should have scored a 3rd straight after the equaliser but 2 players got in each others way.

I have not been that impressed with Stansted on the couple of occassions I have seen them, but last night I thought they were excellent, Burnham also showed that if thay can keep their team together they will be there or therabouts next season.

Great advert for the ESL.

Agreed Spartacus, cracking game of football with two good sides, a great advert for the ESL. Enfield must have been happy as it blows open the title race even more.

Personally I thought Stansted edged the tie, however entertainment wise neither side deserved to lose the game of football. I left before the end of the match, what happened with this melee?

Didnt see the incident, however when both sides shaking hands it all exploded, alledgedly Burnham c/h head butted Stansted player (smallest player on the pitch) and then all hell broke loose, dont think the officials saw much as no cards brandished.

Shame as there was not a malicious tackle in the match.
