And now you also know better than M50 NG why am I not surprised, you should of come along to Hanworth that too was a good advert for non league footy, this was e very exciting 0 0 with both teams going for it,good atmosphere with quite a large crowd in attendance, love the people at Hanworth as they are always so competetive and very knowledgable and their hospitality is second to none. the officials had good games and all in all a good night well done everybody.

VPCTFC,We know you only support one Team in C.C.L.thats Camberley. And to say you will be cheering Sandhurst on in the Cup Final,is bullshit,I will be though as there performance tonight was excellent, forget the choo, choo, .Closer to home you should be shouting BYE, BYE, to Camberleys promotion hopes

Wrong again Smudge. I went to last season's final as a neutral. After about 10 minutes I was cheering on Cove due to Bedfont, well, just being Bedfont! I can't watch games as a neutral and despite some animosity towards Camberley from some people at Cove, I don't feel the same way towards them these days. I know too many people at the club and they've got a decent bar so they're alright in my books. I've always had a soft spot for Sandhurst since my Sunday League days when a few of our club's players were at Sandhurst. Again, there may be some animosity from them towards us but I like them.

You're right regarding our promotion hopes. We'll try again next season and see what happens. I'm just glad I'm involved with a club who are challenging each season and winning more than they're losing. I've seen Camberley struggle for many years so it's nice to be up there each season and having a thriving club which isn't limited to football on a Saturday. Hence why I don't patronise clubs in the CCL who struggle. I have utmost respect for the people keeping some clubs going in the Premier division when they haven't got a pot to p*ss in. We've been there and know what it's like and we're not going to start getting too big for our boots, even if that's how it comes across sometimes. Ambitious? Yes, BTK's? Not in my opinion.

Camberley 1 Molesey 2 Fully deserved win for the moles. The three goals scored were a credit to the CCL all excellent.

SORRY DT10 I DECIDED TO GO TO CAMBERLEY, BUT WELL DONE AND GOOD LUCK IN THE FINAL

FULLY AGREE FINTY, THIS MATCH WAS A CREDIT TO THE CCL WITH BOTH TEAMS GIVING FINE PERFORMANCES WITH 3 GOOD GOALS TO BOOT.

BOTH TEAMS HAVE A COMPLETE CONTRAST IN STYLE OF PLAY. CAMBERLEY PLAY THE LONG ''HOOF'' BALL WHICH WORKED FOR THEIR ONLY GOAL CATCHING MOLESEY DEFENCE SQUARE, WITH NO.9 FINISHING WITH A GREAT DIPPING STRIKE FROM THE EDGE OF THE BOX, WHILE MOLESEY PASS & MOVE STYLE WAS MUCH MORE EASIER ON THE EYE. I WOULD GET NECK ACHE WATCHING CAMBERLEY EACH WEEK, AND WOULD HATE TO BE IN THEIR MIDFIELD 'COS THEY WOULD HARDLY GET A KICK AND GET NECK ACHE TOO !!!

I WONDER HOW AND WHAT CAMBERLEY SUPPORTERS (FLINTY / VP / KROONZ) WHO WATCH THINK ? ANYWAY, IT OBVIOUSLY SUITS THEIR TYPE OF PLAYERS WHO WERE STRONG AND CAN BULLY (SIMILAR TO GUILDFORD) AND ITS BEEN SUCCESSFUL BEING 3RD IN THE LEAGUE. I AM ONLY GLAD THAT FOOTBALL PREVAILED IN THE END !

I LEFT WATCHING RYMAN FOOTBALL FOR THAT SOLE ''HOOF'' FOOTBALL REASON (GOOD AREA THATS ALL I HEAR !!!) AND THOUGHT I WAS BACK WATCHING IT AGAIN LAST NIGHT ! ..........THANK GOODNESS MOLESEY PLAY A DIFFERENT SYTLE AND WITH THE BALL BEING PLAYED ON THE FLOOR CAUSED CAMBERLEY DEFENCE PROBLEMS, WHILST IN THE AIR CAMBERLEY DEFENDERS WERE COMFORTABLE EXCEPT FOR MOLESEYS FIRST GOAL HEADED IN FROM A CORNER.

AS STATED ON A PREVIOUS POST, THIS GAME WAS MASSIVE FOR CAMBERLEY AND LAST NIGHTS DEFEAT ACCOMPANIED WITH CHERTSEYS VICTORY MAKES IT HARD FOR THEM BE EVEN BE RUNNERS UP NOW..........BUT AS WE ALWAYS SAY ON THIS SITE , THERES MORE TWISTS AND TURNS TO COME. FOR EXAMPLE, US PREDICTORS INCLUDING ME, DIDN'T GIVE MOLESEY ANY CHANCE 'COS NO-ONE PREDICTED THEM TO WIN. I UNDERSTAND FROM MOLESEY SUPPORTERS (GOOD BUNCH) THATS 3 TIMES THIS SEASON THEY HAVE BEATEN CAMBERLEY ! IT JUST GOES TO SHOW THAT ANY ONE TEAM CAN BEAT ANOTHER ON THEIR DAY / EVENING.

THOUGHT MOLESEY DESERVED TO WIN ON THE NIGHT PURELY FOR THEIR FOOTBALL, BUT THEY SEEM TO HAVE SOME NEW PLAYERS AS I DID NOT RECOGNISE SOME OF THEM FROM PREVIOUS GAMES, CAN YOU CONFIRM MANAGER50 .... NEW PLAYERS ON BOARD NO 9 & 10 PLUS NOTICE LACK OF SUBS ON THE BENCH ....... INJURIES ?

My opinion is that we're not always a 'hoofing' team - we only seem to get to that stage when we're under pressure and, as you saw last night, we were under pressure quite a lot. One of our youth coaches was saying we needed someone to put his foot on the ball and slow the game down a bit. I don't think that would have worked as Molesey were going 100mph right from the start and they never gave us any time to play football.

My other opinion is that route one football is perfectly legitmate anyway. In the end it's all about results and I personally don't care what style of football is played to get those results.

Hmmm V.P. wonder who you could be talking about at Cove.......let me think ha ha :yay:

The only person at Cove I've ever had a problem with was Chic Botley as he was a BTK. There was one year we only one league game all season - at home to Cove with Chic in charge. Happy days.

You're a pussycat in real life Duncs!

FOR SUCH TWO TEAMS GIVING IT ALL, WOULDN'T IT BE NICE TO PLAY AS YOU DID WITH THE CHANCE OF WINNING SOMETHING,..........INSTEAD OF WINNING NOTHING......OH NO SORRY, GETTING 6TH PLACE.....

YEP BEEN TO HANWORTH ON QUITE A FEW OCCASIONS ACTUALLY AND AGREE WHAT WELCOMING PEOPLE. THEY CREATE A GOOD ATMOSPHERE IN THEIR CLUBHOUSE AFTER THE GAME, MAYBE A CLUB ON THE UP..............

AGREE VP THAT ''HOOFING'' IS LEGITIMATE AND IS KEEPING CAMBERLEY IN CONTENTION (MAYBE NOT NOW ?) BUT I FOR ONE VP COULDN'T WATCH THAT WEEK IN AND WEEK OUT THATS WHY I ASKED. I WONDER IF YOUR MIDFIELD PLAYERS ENJOY THR ''HOOFINF'' STYLE ?

AGREE AGAIN THAT MOLESEYS WORKRATE BY PRESSING AND DEFENSIVE RECOVERY WAS EXCELLENT, THEY SEEMED WELL DRILLED IN THEIR RESPONSIBILITIES, BUT WHEN THEY GOT THE BALL THEY WERE PREPARED TO PASS AS OPPOSED TO HOOFING, THEIR MOVEMENT CAUSED PROBLEMS AND STOPPED ANY POSSIBLE CHANCE OF CAMBERLEY PLAYING, BUT TO BE HONEST VP, IT DIDN'T EVEN LOOK LIKE ANYONE WAS PREPARED TO PUT THEIR FOOT ON THE BALL.

As I said, we don't always play hoof-ball week in, week out. If you look at our goalscorers list you'll see our midfielders have scored plenty this season. We're the division's leading scorers but no one player has scored more than 16 in the league. Our two leading scorers are both playing midfield at the moment. If we were just hoofing it up front all the time surely the majority of our goals would come from just the front two players? Or maybe we're hoofing it to such an extent that our midfielders are actually hanging around the box waiting for the ball. I don't know anything about tactics so couldn't say if this is the case!

Funnily enough, at the beginning of the season we were scoring loads from set pieces to the extent some people were claiming 'that's all we've got'. Now we're a hoofing team apparantly. There's a lesson here - don't judge a team by watching them once, twice or even three times a season. Kroonz has a funny knack of only turning up to watch us for the duff games. I don't know how he does but he always misses the good ones. He must have a really low opinion of us this season!

But we are winning something NG the fact that we are doing so well at the moment is a great achievement and anywhere in the top half would be brilliant but if we can push these lads to a top 6 finish then that will be great,I don't know who you played for or who you were managed by but did YOU always give up if you couldn't win the league,is that what you mean.

DUNCS PLAYED HIGHER THAN RYMANS. ALL I'VE BEEN SAYING THAT THERE ARE PLAYERS WHO DON'T GIVE 100% IF THEIR TEAM ARE MID-TABLE WITH NOTHING TO PLAY FOR COME TURN OF THE YEAR/JANUARY. I JUST THINK YOU WOULD SEE THE DIFFERENCE WITH THOSE PLAYERS/TEAMS SHOULD THERE BE SOMETHING TO PLAY FOR.

I WILL ASK FOR THE MANAGERS HONESTY OF MID-TABLE TEAMS, '' HAVE YOU RECENTLY SEEN AN INCREASE OF EXCUSES NOT TO PLAY LATELY AS OPPOSED TO THE FIRST HALF OF THE SEASON ? '' '' HAVE YOU ALWAYS HAD A FULL COMPLEMENT OF 5 SUBS RECENTLY ?''

UPTO YOU DUNCS, DON'T THINK YOU'RE THE MANAGER OF COVE, I STAND CORRECTED, BUT PLEASE IF YOU ARE IN THE POSITION TO ANSWER MY QUESTIONS ABOVE PLEASE DO. IF NOT, I AM STILL OPEN TO DISCUSSION ON THE SUBJECT IF YOU WISH.

ALWAYS REMEMBER UNLESS YOU TRY, YOU'LL NEVER KNOW.......
