Last Saturdays K.O. times, should never be repeated if the F.A. arranges another 3pm k.o.The League must take the bull by the horns, and state 1pm k.o..Reason if Whyteleafe was anything to go by in the Ryman, the Clubs missed out on a good pay day.Decent Crowd,Packed Bar,Refreshment Bar did a good trade. Many new faces as well.A trick missed,oh and tomorrow a pointless friendly to lower the crowds further. They preach GRASS ROOTS,then pour weedkiller on it.The F.A. should be prefixed SWEET,because thats what they do to help Lower level clubs..

SMUDGY BOY & CHERTSEYTOWN (I WAS THERE WATCHING SATURDAY), I UNDERSTAND AND HAVE READ BEFORE THAT IF THE 2 CLUBS DECIDE TO KICK OFF AT AN ALTERNATIVE TIME LIKE 1PM ON SATURDAY, THEN WHITELAW WOULD PERMIT IT AS LONG AS THERE WAS SUFFICIENT TIME TO ARRANGE IT AND ADVISE THE REF & ASSISTANTS.

NOW LETS BE HONEST, FIXTURES ARE KNOWN IN ADVANCE SO WHY ARE YOU BLAMING THE FA ? NOW I CAN SEE YOUR POINT, BUT IF THATS THE LAW PUT DOWN SO BE IT, JUST GET ON WITH IT, PARK ON A DOUBLE YELLOW AND GET A TICKET ITS YOUR FAULT NOT THE COUNCILS. IT COMES DOWN TO THE 2 CLUBS TO GET OFF THEIR BACK SIDES AND TALK TO EACH OTHER, ACCEPT THE RESONSIBILITY & BE ORGANISED THATS ALL IT TAKES ........

THERE WERE 14 RYMAN CLUBS, WHYTELEAFE AS SMUDGY STATES ALONG WITH GODALMING, DULWICH, BOGNOR REGIS, HARLOW, GREAT WAKERING, GRAYS, ENFIELD, MARGATE, HARROW BORO', CROYDON, CONCORD RANGERS, BILLERICAY, AVELEY AND TILBURY 12.00 KICK OFF.

IF THE ABOVE TEAMS CAN ARRANGE AN EARLIER KICK OFF WHY CAN'T OTHER CLUBS ? ................LAZY ? OTHER TEAMS CO-OPERATION ? OTHER TEAMS AGREEMENT TO THE SPECIFIC TIME ?

INTERESTING..............

I agree with NG on this one.

Smudge, as I said a few days ago, the FA don't chose kick off times for away games. Wales often play their home games at 3pm on a Saturday.

Sheerwater & Eversley managed to get it together to have an early kick off. I don't know if there were any others but it's down to the clubs to do it, not the FA or the league. There were FA Vase semi finals on Saturday at 3pm so do you not think the FA would have chosen a different time for the Wales game if they could? As it turns out one of the semis was a sell-out and the other wasn't far short and both had massively higher attendances than the first legs last season so it wasn't a problem.

you also have to take into account that some players work on Saturday morning and can not make an early kick off.

And some people sleep on a bank holiday so can't make early kick offs.

That's one thing I've never liked in this league - the 11.30am games but again, it's up to the clubs if they want to change the kick off time. Sadly my club never does. Some of the punters and committee like these silly o'clock starts.

In Merstham's case it was down to Ramsgate refusing either a Friday night or early Saturday kick-off - which I guess is maybe understandable considering the distance. Edited by bomaya
