I think Sports will be fine, they have the players to crack on now, especially if Newby can stay on the pitch, I think they will beat South Park and Warlingham and if they do then there tails will be up and they will finish the season strong.

Lammas will be tough tests for Warlingham and Worcester Park and the feel good factor is back at the club and we are already planning for next season!

Definitely expecting a tough game tomorrow ellers. Especially after your good win sat. We will be looking to come back strong after that shocking result Saturday !

HORLEY TOWN 1 GUILDFORD CITY 1, great goal by ben camara opened the scoring for city in the first half ,as the game went on the ref slowly lost the plot with some very strange descisions too many to go into detail ,guildford started the second half at full steam ahead and should of had two more goals (one of which was carried over the line by the horley keeper but the ref and lino were having none of it ),a fifty fifty ball challenge at the other end resulted in city keeper anthony hall being in my opinion unfairly sent off ,from this horley were awarded an undeserved penalty ,their only shot on goal in the whole game ,their hacking the guildford players throughout the game got them two players sent off(and iam not saying guildford were totally innocent in some challenges), and so ended a very frustrating afternoon for guildford with two points droped and wondering how we didant win .

If that was 50 50 with the goal keeper you should try specsavers mate you need it!:futbolbud2:

A disaster for Croydon at the Arena today when they allowed Badshot Lea back into a game that they should have won at a canter, BL appeared to be missing a load of players and only had one sub.

The Trams crucified them at the back where BL had a distinct lack of pace and a team, with any kind of confidence would have maramalised them.

Croydon went 1 up through a 19th minute Paul Scott header and then missed the most dodgiest of dodgy penalties in the 2nd half. Keeper saved and the taker Martin Smith skied a shot over from the rebound when a simple header would have done.

2-0 would have killed it but bizarrely even though BL have nothing to play for (I think you know who i'm getting at here) they kept going - equalising in the 84th minute through Marcus Cousins and sealing the win 5 minutes later through Devon Williams.

No complaints from a Croydon perspective - they've played well with no luck 3 games running and now when their luck turns a little they spurn it anyway.

Better than watching England anyway.....

BADSHOT LEA MISSING PLAYERS AND ONLY HAD ONE SUB......WHY ? .......... WELL IT WAS AT THE ARENA ...LOL !

EASY TO SAY STREETCAR AFTER THE EVENT ! BUT DON'T CRY WOLF WHEN YOUR PLAYER MISSES A PEN AND SKIES OVER ON THE REBOUND........ COMMENT: '' 2-0 WOULD HAVE KILLED IT'' BUT YOU DIDN'T AND LET BADSHOT BACK IN WHO'S FAULT ...............'' HAD '' YOU WON, PERHAPS CERTAIN COMMENTS WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN MADE ? ................ ENJOY DIV. 1 !!!! ................TOUCHE LOL !

Does anyone else think this reply is gibberish? Of course it's only conjecture that a 2 nil lead would have won the game - especially considering how flaky Croydon team currently is, but I was there and I think my opinion is valid in this instance - and who do you think i'm blaming for the defeat? Surely it was down to a mixture of the home teams ineptitude and the away team's perserverance. "Had" we won, I would have written that we completely dominated a poor Badshot Lea team and that maybe we had turned the corner and we could face our next opponents with some confidence, as it is we will likely fill one of the 3 relegation spots and take our chances at the end of the season. Fair enough, there has to be losers so that there can be winners - no complaints.

And would your snarky reply be because you have been proved wrong once again about teams losing interest at this time of year - touche indeed.

I WILL ALWAYS STAND BY MY COMMENT OTHERWISE I WOULDN'T MENTION IT. I AM SURE THERE WERE PLAYERS ON SHOW YESTERDAY THAT WERE NOT THAT INTERESTED BUT THEN AGAIN I AN MORE OR LIKELY WRONG AS OTHERS SAY, ITS OKAY HEARING WHATS SAID BUT PEOPLE/PLAYERS HAS TO BE HONEST WITH THEMSELVES............

PROVED WRONG ? YOU STATE AN INEPT PERFORMANCE FROM CROYDON PERHAPS STREETCAR, YOU ALSO STATED ' A POOR BADSHOT LEA TEAM' YET STILL LOSE ! TROUBLE IS WITH YOUR TEAM ITS NEVER SETTLED, I WONDER HOW MANY PLAYERS HAVE PLAYED FOR CROYDON THIS SEASON, I I WILL HAVE A GUESS AROUND 60 ? LESSON TO BE LEARNT BY DIXON IN MY OPINION....

ANYWAY, I WILL BE GOING TO WATCH THE GAME OF NEXT SEASON IN DIV. 1 CROYDON VS FARLEIGH, NOW HOME OR AWAY ?.... MMMNNNNN LOL.... SUGGEST YOU GO AND SUPPORT WORCESTER PARK FOE THE LAST FEW GAMES......HAPPY DAYS STREETCAR !

STREETCAR, BETTER START SAYING YOUR PRAYERS, COS IT LOOKS AS THO FARNHAM AND BEDFONT SPORTS HAVE PASSED THEIR GROUND GRADING, AND SOUTH PARK I ASSUME ARE OKAY ANYWAY, SO THAT LEAVES WORCESTER PARK TO UPSET THE APPLE CART FOR CROYDONS BENEFIT SO IT SEEMS ................. WILL WORCESTER PARK DO IT FOR THE TRAMS ???????

NG, lots of permutations still but I can't see more than 2 teams being relegated from the Premier, as the Division is already 1 team short. Even if Worcester Park don't make the top 3 (and I think they will) they are more likely to reprieve a Step 4 team than relegate 3 from our Premier.

Don't you just love this time of year - plenty of if's, buts and maybe's

CHEERS GF, I AM RELATIVELY NEW TO THE CCL (2ND SEASON) SO YOUR INFORMATION IS VERY HELPFUL, BUT YES YOU'RE RIGHT IT'S ALL IF'S & BUT'S BUT MAKES IT EXCITING, BETTER THAN WATCHING 2 MIDDLE PLACED TEAMS.................HA HA DON'T ALL BITE !!!

And if Worcester Park finish in top 3,and( no ground grading) only 1 Premier side will get relegated.Makes for an interesting last few games.

Unless Guildford miss out on ground grading but still win the League (unlikely this year that 2nd placed team will get promoted)
