Westfield 1-3 Farleigh

Shocking inept first half from us in which we went in a goal down. Farleigh strong and organised and threatened mostly from set pieces - had very useful lad up top who thankfully was also a bit greedy. Poor mistake again doubled the lead for the visitors on the hour but we then woke up and got a goal back and made Farleigh work for the 3 points . On another day we may have got the equaliser but game wrapped but in the last min when we somehow left the old war horse Newman unmarked to head home.

Still lots of players missing but no excuse it's a squad game and the first half performance was unacceptable

Chertsey 1 v 3 MVSCR

Probably our best performance of the season.

Weathered an early Chertsey storm, as you would have expected - fortunately NLS seemed to have left his shooting boots behind, and gradually got into the game.

Chertsey definitely had the better of the first half, but apart from a sloppy goal, conceeded when we failed to defend a corner properly, i cannot recall our keeper having a really difficult save to make. At the other end Bradshaw made two very good save (one from close range, and one from a header - although that was more for the cameras).

Should have been 2-0 early in the second half, but Chertsey forward - dont think it was NLS - missed an open goal.

This seemed to spur us on, and two quick goals midway through the half, from Liam Holden and Daryl Cooper-Smith put us ahead.

Increased lead through Jayde Spence with about 15 to go, and after a tough last 10, as we had been reduced to 10 men, we held on for a deserved win.

Very proud of the lads today - in all honesty, i was hoping for a decent performance ahead of the cup semi, and if we nicked a point, i would have been happy.

Worcester Park 7-1 Warlingham

Totally outbattled out classed and out fought. I take responsibility for this 'one off' performance as I changed formation and starting line up during the warm up. Saying that WP were excellent and took their chances well if we took our chnaces at important times then maybe a different game. No excuses on the day we were no where good enough and probably suffered from 'NICEGUY-ITUS! Yes we did have players missing but still no excuse.

Tuesday night we go to Staines Lammas who are on a decent run and will look to get back to winning ways. Good luck to WP for rest of season.

Horley town 1 guildford 1.

guildford took the lead with a 20 strike from no 10 sorry do not know his name.

we weathered the storm which was expected then got into the game with a couple of chances.

then the ref ruined the game in my opinion sent off our striker, and then sent off the guildford keeper. We scored from the spot for 1_1. Then with 15 or so to go our centre half got sent off for second yellow.

Overall a great result for us,after also drawing with cambo last week.

thought guildford were a good side, big, strong and clinical.

best of luck to guildford in promotion, best team ive played against this season.

HORLEY TOWN 1 GUILDFORD CITY 1, great goal by ben camara opened the scoring for city in the first half ,as the game went on the ref slowly lost the plot with some very strange descisions too many to go into detail ,guildford started the second half at full steam ahead and should of had two more goals (one of which was carried over the line by the horley keeper but the ref and lino were having none of it ),a fifty fifty ball challenge at the other end resulted in city keeper anthony hall being in my opinion unfairly sent off ,from this horley were awarded an undeserved penalty ,their only shot on goal in the whole game ,their hacking the guildford players throughout the game got them two players sent off(and iam not saying guildford were totally innocent in some challenges), and so ended a very frustrating afternoon for guildford with two points droped and wondering how we didant win .

so the top two wobble !and cambo soldier on ,its gonna be an interesting finale !

Thank God for Twitter. Best thing that's ever happened! Seeing the top three 1-0 up at HT, then all three being pegged back to 1-1, then MVSCR scoring, then Camberley scoring then a desperate wait to see if Horley could snatch a late one.

Goes to show these sides who've allegedly got nothing to play for are certainly giving it their all. Horley last week and this, MVSCR and CWU today. I wish NG was right when these sides were playing us but none of them have given up so far.

Tough game for us at home to Molesey on Tuesday - win that and it's another turn of the pressure screw. Lose it and it's game over for us this season I think.

And before CC asks - no I didn't see the alleged stamping incident today. I was standing in the bar doorway and one of the CWU fellas (may even have been Chris himself but I don't know which one he is) was in my line of sight.

A disaster for Croydon at the Arena today when they allowed Badshot Lea back into a game that they should have won at a canter, BL appeared to be missing a load of players and only had one sub.

The Trams crucified them at the back where BL had a distinct lack of pace and a team, with any kind of confidence would have maramalised them.

Croydon went 1 up through a 19th minute Paul Scott header and then missed the most dodgiest of dodgy penalties in the 2nd half. Keeper saved and the taker Martin Smith skied a shot over from the rebound when a simple header would have done.

2-0 would have killed it but bizarrely even though BL have nothing to play for (I think you know who i'm getting at here) they kept going - equalising in the 84th minute through Marcus Cousins and sealing the win 5 minutes later through Devon Williams.

No complaints from a Croydon perspective - they've played well with no luck 3 games running and now when their luck turns a little they spurn it anyway.

Better than watching England anyway.....
