This is only my view so take it or leave it....

A cup .....No.

Play off places ............................No ....Because once a team secures a play off place they don't care about results although it gives other players a chance but is that fair to teams that could be relegated or in play off positions if the said side puts out a res/youth team to keep the 1st team fresh for the play offs.

Put 2 or 3 teams up ... Yes but it is down to the FA ..............................................

 

Now await in flack jacket for NG and TF response but if they have any understanding of football at this level ( as they have obviously been premiership players and now one is a scout for Real Madrid ) then they may buy into it.

We are all entitled to a bit of fun and banter and thats what it is.......And I do know thats why it makes it all the funnier...TF as I say all a bit of fun ....So keep up the response as it is good stuff.

Thing is a lot of the games are meaningless early in the season. For example, Colliers Wood Utd v Cove played in November would have been meaningless as realistically neither club were going to win the League or be relegated.I can understand NG's thinking in trying to spice things up at this time of the season but just don't think his idea is the answer. And before anyone asks, no I don't have a better idea!

I can confirm that there is prize money for the Reserve Challenge Cup. We received a cheque at the presentation evening last year.

 

I would be fairly confident in assuming there is also prize money for the other League Cups.
