If Deren Ibrahim plays tomorrow he'll be the first player with a surname starting with the letter I ever to have played for Margate. Just leaves us needing somebody with a surname starting with an X.

Whilst it's a bit disturbing that I know Deren's the first I surname player ever (going back to 1896) it'd be even more alarming if I'd made that up. When I mentioned our lack of X surname players I was of course forgetting about 1910/11 goalscoring machine Xander Xylophone.
