Pinned threads / Locked threads

The threads about the ongoing debate about the dismissal of IOC were locked because the debate had been exhausted ... I've read them & have to agree - as a result the articles are falling down the list (out of sight, out of mind?).

However the Forum has another 'problem' Pinned Threads ... there are four of them at the top of the list ... three are about raising funds for the club are quite worthy - but three ... can we at least have them amalgamated? The fourth - about Ground redevelopment - has an exhausted debate (sound familiar?) and has not been added to in the past 20 days & counting - this is also worthy, but can we have some consistancy?

Appreciate your support,Superblues, it is never easy knowing "if" OR when to moderate thread, im not normally in favour of locking them, as you have said most get exhausted and slide down the list, Mummybunny's recent locking of threads was done mainly because there were 4 0r 5 talking about the recent turbulant news over there,..and of course people missed some of it, as they may have read wrong snipbits,..regarding the pinned items , ive seen them and no doubt, maybe still important to have them kept there no doubt, as requested by your Press officer Steve Wells, (wellsie) Bluegate Alan when he logs in next will review,im sure (i dont get involved with the Margate forum, unless i know Alan or Mummybunny (a staff member) are not available,..any issues will be dealt by them as soon as,..humanly possible, again thanks for your support.......,

I pin threads when asked to do so by the authors and unpin them if a certain timed event on them. Surely if I amalgamate all 3 fund raising threads these will then lose their identity? As for the Ground development I thought Wellsie would add to that as news becomes available, but can now see he starts new threads. This being so I will unpin that one at let it fall down the list.

BGA ..Thanks for taking the time to explain ... everything in moderation eh?

BTW one of the reasons I brought it up is because the office computer I read it on is low resolution with enormous fonts and I have to scroll down a long way to find the latest news.
