The Thornes 'developing Wexham Park'

I read a little piece on the back page of the Observer about the Thornes submitting plans to SBC about 'developing' Wexham Park. What could this mean? I'm assuming it's not football related unfortunately, but then again seeing as it's green-belt land, what other development could they have in mind? Or are SBC going to about-turn and allow housing to be built there?

-your oppossed to life...Mr Janik !

most of the site will remain green open space....

and the land fill will be used for the Stadium..

plus your residents will get a lot more out of this project than you trying to scupper any changes....which could be for the best !

wait ....

As for the Thornes ..... They have there own agenda here ....maybe a football club or maybe not...

And as for the article from Paul shines , about the pollution and traffic problems and that STFC did not do anything for the local community !

We did when we were a members club...good social outlet , youth teams ladies teams ...the Slough Town Cup finals and lots and lots of junior football , plus the football in the community programme , which were all stopped because we did not own the ground !!!

and last year with all our problems our club raised over 10,000 pounds for local charities !

What did you do ????

We are pressing that the stadium will be a community stadium and can be used (of course for a price) but at reasonable prices to use the faclities....but I can't see West ham or Man Utd letting everyone use their pitch ! so be reasonable.....

But our organisation has demanded that the locals wishes are taken into consideration....and we will as a football trust become more involved in getting the local youngsters involved....

and getting all the local cup finals played once again in SLOUGH !

Up the Rebels....

[color:"blue"]In case you haven't yet noticed I am one man and not a football club or even a supporters club. While you raise money I'm out trying to help residents with, mainly, their council related problems.
