As much as I am personally disappointed that IOC was not given longer (assuming that it was just based on results) if this move is the first step in us returning to the management team that brought us success and a top half Conference finish, then I am all for it.

Good luck to Kevin in his time as caretaker manager.He was a good servant to this club in those days & he has been to a lot of our games since so I presume Margate FC is still in his blood.

Using I hope my "freedom to speak," I am not in favour of going back. If every thing goes OK at the main council meeting then we should look forwards to the future. Not backwards into the past. If every thing goes tits up at the council meeting, the Hotel group say's goodbye. Hey, "Kevin Raine" could go down as Margate's as we no it's, last manager. My only concern is that if he wins 3 or 4 of his 8 games in charge, there will no doubt be calls for him to get the job on a permanent basis. Then in a year's time or so, he'll be deemed 'not the right man for the job' and we'll be back to square one.
