Could be a good time for Molesey to play Carshalton Ath.they are now managed by their Chairman Paul Dipre after he suprisingly got rid of Mark Butler last Friday. This is the man who caused uproar last year by changing the Club Colours and badge,to the supporters disgust.Does anyone know the entry cost,as last year when Badshot Lea put them out it was £9 ADULT,£5 CONCESSIONS.anyone going?

Was there any form of protest as in reduced spectators at their last game ?

People may also boycot the Molesey game ?

Don't know if I can handle colston avenue twice in a week and their burgers are rotten !!

PADLOCK, JUST BEEN ON CARSHALTON WEBSITE. THEIR HOME SUPPORT IS AN AVERAGE OF 200 SO THE ANSWER TO YOUR QUESTION IS 'NO PROTEST' BY THE LOOKS OF THINGS AS THEY HAD 235 ON SATURDAY AGAINST AVELEY WHICH IS THE MOST THEY HAVE HAD FOR A WHILE.......... NOT SURE HOW MANY AVELEY SUPPORTERS THERE WERE THO' ?

MIND YOU. FOR CARSHALTON PREVIOUS SURREY SENIOR MATCHES AWAY AT REDHILL THERE WAS 64 AND FOR THEIR ''HOME'' FIXTURE AGAINST CROYDON IN THE PREVIOUS ROUND THERE WAS ONLY 49 THATS 15 LESS THAN REDHILL !!!

ITS PLAINLY OBVIOUS THEIR SUPPORTERS DON'T TAKE THE SSC SERIOUS WHICH IS A SAD SHOWING FOR THE LIKES OF CROYDON AND MOLESEY, WHO WILL BE TAKING ON A CLUB 2 DIVISONS HIGHER (RYMAN PREMIER) SO YOU WOULD EXPECT A LARGER CROWD WOULDN'T YOU ........? SO IS THAT BEING DISRESPCTFUL TOWARDS BOTH CCL CLUBS ?.

For me NG ask any chairman if they don't want any silverware in the cabinet regardless of SCC cup or the Kelloggs Tin Hat. Winning is a good formula and too many use the excuse as “ oh we fielded a weakened side “ as this that is our main priority. This game is all about fun and there is no more fun than lifting a trophy and all the team going on the razzle IMO. Good luck Steve and your boys.

I AGREE ''EVERY'' CUP IS WORTH WINNING IRRESPECTIVE ON HOW CLUBS DECIDE WHAT ITS WORTH, IF THEY WANT TO PUT OUT A WEAKENED TEAM SO BE IT, BUT DON'T MAKE THAT AN EXCUSE 'COS OF LOSING. CALL ME OLD FASHIONED PERHAPS, BUT WHY ENTER A COMPETITION IF YOU DON'T WANT TO WIN IT, ITS A WASTE OF ENTRANCE FEE. ?

WHEN I USED TO PLAY, I WANTED TO WIN EVERY COMPETITION MY CLUB ENTERED IRRESPECTIVE OF PEOPLE SAYING ITS A 'PONY' 'MICKEY MOUSE' CUP (IF YOU NOTICE, MOST CLUBS SAY THAT AFTER THEY'VE BEEN KNOCKED OUT....LOL!). ITS A WINNERS HONOUR & SILVERWARE FOR THE CLUB PLUS MEDALS FOR THE PLAYERS AND LETS BE HONEST, I DON'T CARE WHAT PEOPLE SAY, WHEN YOY WIN A CUP FINAL THERE'S HAPPINESS AND ENJOYMENT, SO WHAT DO WE DO ALL THIS FOR IN FOOTBALL ...............ENJOYMENT !

I DEFY ANYONE WHO SAYS THEY WOULDN'T MIND OR CARE IF THEY DIDN'T WIN A CUP !

Don't think that will be the case tonight,Chairman has just taken over as Manager,so the last thing he would want(not that he gives a damn for the supporters)is a loss. But saying that the BAGGIES beat them last year when they had a strong side out,11 v 11 remember, and the year of the underdog.

I believe the Entrance Fee tomorrow night is £10 adults,£6 concessions. No wonder then there was only 49 v Croydon.GREAT VALUE I THINK NOT. GREEDY MORELIKE.

I think the cost is a factor Smudge but in the last couple of years they have put out, well not even their reserve side, and it is that, that really rankles!!

Don't think they have a designated "Reserve" side just 1st team squad and Academy. The side they put out against Badshot Lea last season were mainly 1st teamers, but they were sulking because Dipre had just terminated the contracts of 2 well-liked players - Paul Honey was one, can't remember the other. The manager then was Francis Vines ex Crawley Town & Farnborough FC - he lasted all of 5 months before Dipre got shot of him and appointed Mark Butler

My mistake Weeble just spotted from their website:

Academy students make up the following Carshalton Athletic Teams.

The 2nd Team (Suburban Premier League)

The Football Conference Youth Alliance League

The Ryman Youth League

The English Colleges Youth League
