Is this the same Andy Ford who guided Gravesend to the Isthmian title in 2001-02 then kept them in the Conference for several seasons? He also won a few KSC's I believe, surely he can't be that bad?.

In fact i'm sure I remember him bringing Gravesend to Margate when we were in the conference for the KSC final at HDP and they gave us a spanking with Che scoring a couple.

Same here ... the fans were let down by the upper Management on that one.

 

We looked like we were playing with a massive hang over.

The Club were pushing the match strongly (the Official site & forum were under the control of Parmenter junior).

What most of the fans were not aware of was that Jim had taken the squad on a beano abroad as a reward for the good Conference season & they had got an overnight flight back ... returning to Hartsdown (pre-demolition) a few hours before KO .. so we played with a squad that may have been hung over, but were certainly tired & unrested.

Yes ... Chris (Kinnear) was a Manager reluctant to change his squad if they were injured but could still stand ... more of a 'patch them up & play them' type of guy.
