Barking 3 - 2 Clapton

 

Good game. Barking took the lead fairly early on then Clapton came back to take a 2 - 1 lead and looked ok for it for a while. Barking piled on plenty of pressure and got an equaliser just before the break. Then we gave away a soppy penalty in the 2nd half and thats how it stayed. Plenty of effort & Spirit from Clapton which is good to see.

 

The Ref took lots of stick from the Barking fans & players but in all honesty i think he done ok.

You guys the lost the game as soon as you took of Mfula, absolutely bizarre decision, running the show upfront.

 

Piss poor reffing, never a penalty, booked our player for a cynical trip and then when your player did minutes later there was no card. In the second half, our player was slide tackled, your player did not get the ball, should have been a free kick, he then fell over, and our bloke stamped on him by accident. Bizarrely our player was booked and you got the foul, despite him firstly giving it to us.

Sounds like the referee was cheating if you ask me, or maybe he just gave it as he saw it. If you think you could do better why not take it up. The £30 you get for being screamed at for 90 minutes comes in really handy too.

Ref was inconsistent, as what happens in every level, but both sets of managers/players/fans were less than impressed by him.

 

Seems like Clapton actually have a decent keeper for once as well!
