Adam Martin released by St Albans

Was released by St Albans early March by the looks of it along with another one of Bates' old players Dave Deeney according to the local St Albans paper.

Not seen his name pop-up anywhere else since. Would love to have him back if possible, a central midfield partnership on him and Coyney would be the best in the league in my opinion and really push on our promotion bid.

With Steve Bateman's close affiliation with Adam Martin, if it was to happen I think it would have happened by now. Besides, as far as I'm aware there is no budget for a new player and I don't think I would like to see any of the regular starters shipped out to make way for him.

I think that Adam Martin is quality player but who would be dropped. Herron is in top form and coyne has to play as does sincs as they have so much influence on our play. Would swift be dropped for Adam Martin??

 

Then we have Shaun Byrne and Adam Logie who are two quality players and Seeby who fits in well

Also....it seems that Deeney trained with Arlesey Thursday but decided not to sign for them
