I know it's not CCL but as he's held in such high regard on here .......

 

I have received a text from Mick S. today saying that he was asked by Leatherhead after a committee meeting yesterday to retract his resignation which he is happy to do and will be in charge of team affairs for tomorrows game, or back in the hot seat as Mick put it !!!

 

 

 

Mick would like to personally say a big thank you to all in the CCL from the clubs, committee's, manager, players, supporters & friends & even the Refs for their support over the last week or so & wont forget the great words of encouragment he's received.

 

Mick said he wont comment further & suspects more story's will be floating around which he wont reply to either, as he's only interested in moving forward and hopes to acheive the targets he's set for the season, which is promotion for Leatherhead.

Totally agree,many things are done in the heat of the moment,that wish we had not done.Takes big people to see through the mist.Well done Mick and Leatherhead for a very commendable solution.Maybe the hierachy at Merstham should of taken the same action,re El Gaffer.

REALLY ENJOYED THE GAME, GREAT ATMOSPHERE AND PERSONALLY THINK THAT LEATHERHEAD ARE GOOD FOR PLAY-OFFS AT LEAST.

 

GOTTA SAY, IT WAS GOOD TO WATCH A RYMAN GAME TO COMPARE WITH THE CCL. I CAN SEE A VAST DIFFERENCE IN THE PACE AND SKILL WITH MORE PROFESIONALISM IN THE RYMAN GAME. THIS WAS A GOOD ADVERT FOR RYMAN, BOTH TEAMS WENT FOR IT EVEN FOOTBALL WAS PLAYED !
