However many hundred games + total commitment in every one of them + key part of one of MFC's greatest eras = great to me. Name a better midfielder for the club of the last 20 years.

 

That's fair enough, I was just intrigued to know peoples opinions on what a great or a legend is nowadays..

 

You are right..key player in MFC best era

Rated Jay as an outstanding player for Margate and one player I hoped would come back to us before he did.

 

Funny that before he left Maidstone to come to us they offered him the role of player/coach on more money, but as they still owed him £2000 he turned it down.

 

 

Hmmm irony/sarcasm isnt lost on you lot is it........ If I could have put a footnote to my post it would have been something like..........

 

 

 

"Out of the frying pan into the Ryman North..... lol"

 

And this isnt a dig at JS cos he was an extremely good player for the club its just a shame that he left under such crappy circumstances.
