In future a Forum link to match reports will not be posted. Anyone wishing to read match reports can still find them on the website.

It may be stating the obvious but there is nothing to stop anyone from writing match reports and posting them on here.

Personally. I tend to agree. I have always ensured that all the stuff I write on the website has a positive spin. Whilst some avid Forum users may disagree, the website is our main shop window and (in my opinion) it is totally counter productive to display any negativity whatsoever. Negativity will not get more people through the turnstiles.

However, it should be remembered that 'volunteers' are a finite resource. Shoot the piano player and who plays the piano?

I agree re volunteers and dagger does put in some hard work with the club shop and match reports but his negativity about the home support is just not on.Why complain in the match report about them,it's not the place to.If he wants to complain then he should either post on the forum his complaints/grievances or approach the club, not put them on a website so every Tom dick and Harry can see it.Gives the club bad press when to be honest due to letters to the NLP and local papers recently, that is all we seem to be getting, when we should actually be getting good press for our on field results.

I have no problem as such with him complaining,I do not agree with him but j agree with his right to complain through the right channels,if he done it the right way then maybe a solution could be worked out.As it is,it has put peoples backs up and made them more determined to make more noise

Trouble is if the piano player p**ses off the rest of the band and the audience then its not much of a gig - plus wouldn't a piano make too much noise.....
