Wednesday 16th Results

I though it was a very poor Farleigh team to be honest.

They played route one football, and just hit long balls to the striker, who was having a bad day as well. Our centre half had him in his pocket the whole game.

Having said that, we did go in at half-time 1-0 down.

Getting into the boys and changing a few minor things we come out second half with our heads held high. ( better then previous week lol ).

Started well, and within 20 mins were 3-1 up.

There second goal was merely a scuffed shot that took bobble in front of our keeper and some how managed to beat him.

All be it, a good win for us, having travel and fair distance and arriving late.

We too had 3/4 big players missing.

It's been a good month for us really, considering the 8-0 against Warlingham!

Ash United - Won 3-1

Staines Lammas - Won 2-1

Warlingham - Lost 0-8 ( cough cough )

Cb Hounslow - Won 1-0

Farleigh Rovers - Won 3-2

Unforunately Ng you are spot on! Although we did have 2 goals harshly disallowed and frimleys guy in the dugout had the Lino in his pocket, I think we will be changing around the benches at the arena for the next game, Tucks looking forward to another good battle tomorrow, maybe 2 games in 48 hours and knowing what our games are like physically the decision was made to bring in some fringe players and reserves to see how they coped, also if we hadn't missed 5 chances in the pen area in first half things could have been different! I hear the beers are on you tomorrow tucks

Jurg . . . . Possibilty that we have one or two maybe three or four new faces tomorrow night and I wont name names on this forum BUT all i will say that its thanks to a certain club secretary that has had his fair share of criticism that one of the players is potentially available tomorrow night.

went to R P V horrible journey 1.5 hours. guildford always on top. although rpv did try to play a passing game. 2 goals killed off rpv, then guildford missed lots of chances. good to see EDDO in the rpv goal.

With reference to resting players for Friday night against us last night Spencer, you obvious assumed that it would be an easy 3 points ???

Shows that you can't take any teams lightly in this league, as you now could end up with 0 points out of 6 this week?

Beat the teams you kno you can beat, and nick a point of the rest, and I assure you, you'll be up there come end of season. That's my way of thinking.

Well if what I've heard is true (and I believe it is), then you have got a very good player IMO.

I never make excuses I just tell it how it is! Being in the linesmans ear does seem to influence decisions on certain officials as the seem to melt under pressure. Also decision would be down to Scott not Dixon

And in mine jurg. I have a very good relationship with the players former club and secretary and that has helped in being able to get him signed on in quick time.

Inbetweener. There is some discussions with cobham over dan but thats as far as we have got at the minute. I was not on the lookout for a keeper but after speaking with ken yesterday over another matter the situation arose where warlingham and cobham may come to an agreement over dan. I have spoke with dan and offered him nothing in the way of playing only for him to get back involved in a football enviroment and he is happy with that.
