The lights are coming!!!!

Recommended Posts

I have just heard from Trentender, who has been down at Reeding Way today, that the pylons are slowly going up. The word on the street is that the installation should be finished by next Tuesday. The lights themselves look great and are apparently top quality. Can't wait to get down there myself to have a gander. More info on the first floodlit games when I have it or follow The Mighty Knappers on Pitchero.

I don't believe it, I 've just been told we have to pay more if we want lights to go on the tops of the pylons!!!!

I can't believe I have just wasted the last 4 years trying to get 6 plyons position around the pitch!!!

What was I thinking of!!!!

Ah well, better start the fundraisng again!!!

Any-one got a shilling for the meter!

Love the banter! However the geeky information now, the lights supplied and installed by Musco are a new state of the art floodlights and the first of the kind in this country. All controlled by computer by ourselves and back up from a 24 hour operation controlled in the US with engineers in the UK. It's an impressive system!

Hope the system is more fail-safe than a certain fail-safe power system in Japan.
