Dorking Ladies have an Under 19's International.

If you are totally anti-womens football, read no further.

Below, is a link to a site of one of the Dorking Ladies players, Hannah Duncan who is studying at Bournemouth Uni..

If you scroll down, and click on Video: The Women's Game, you will see a short video concerning Andreia Veiga, who joined us this season.

Andreia is a Portugese Under 19's International and a face to watch in the future. Unfortunately, the clip cannot do full justice to her skills on nthe pitch.

There is no longer a Horley Ladies side.

To quote John Cleese from that famous parrot sketch, 'They are no more; they are deceased; they are an ex-team...........'

It's along story which I'd rather not go into on here. If you want the full SP, and the birth of Dorking Ladies, PM me by all means !

Yes and if you want the other side of the story pm me. lol.

Thats what you get when your Committee decide to invite the local rugby club to share.

Never mind. Horleys loss has certainly become Meadowbanks gain !

Im sure there is no gain for Horley having a Rugby Club ,they do not drink much.Lol.

Thats not the only reason they are gone now is it JR.

It was probably the major reason they decided to pull out of Horley, not withstanding an exodus of Ladies from first team to Lewes, leaving part reserve team and part of the first team.

They were offered Meadowbank, and it was THEIR decision to accept, re-name, reform and play under the DFC banner.

No - Probably not.

I forgot the formation of the Horley Vets team taking precedence.

Did they get planning permission for their zimmer-frame stand outside the changing room corridor door ?

No nimble from me, mate. I do keep very much in touch with what goes on down near Pratwick Airport.

I only update the Ladies page on the DFC web-site, not having any 'official' capacity within their club, other than having a very close working relationship with their Committee for obvious reasons.
